So originally hubby said no more he is done.
Friday we talked and he said we can keep trying as long as I don't forget I have a kid to take care of and not become crazy and lock myself in my room for days or something.

Friday I took a pill that was supposed to help me pass the baby..... It's now monday and NOTHING. No cramping, no spotting nothing. Because I took this pill I now will have to wait 3 months for it to leave my system so I will be back in here in full force this summer.
Just wondering when I need to call the DR to let them know I have not passed? Like what is to long to wait 1 month 2 months? He never said anything about it. I just want to do everything in my power to avoid another D&C.
Last week the nurse asked if I wanted to make my follow up appointment for this week and I said no I will call... what is there to follow up on if I have not miscarried yet???? would just be another co pay for NOTHING.

I am going to poke my head in every now and then but right now I am in the angry stage... I even removed some people on facebook because I just could not log on every day and here them *****ing about being pregnant when I would give anything to be puking my guts out & having a baby bounce on my bladder and kick me all night long.

Hi, I posted in your other post about this but are you sure it said 3 months? When I took the misoprostol it only said ONE month. I'd ask your doctor and/or read the info that came with the pills again to be sure. Also, since you only took one pill and you took it orally I would ask the dr for a second round of pills that you can insert vaginally, it's worth a shot since you are trying to avoid the d&C. I had to have two doses of the misoprostol and each dose was 3 pills inserted vaginally. I think once you start the miscarriage (you're not bleeding yet from what I gather) you just have to make sure that everything is out and you don't continue to bleed for a long long time because that is signs that stuff is still in there, which can cause infection and lead to all sorts of other not so nice things. Good luck, and don't feel bad for being angry, we all go trhough it.

I'm so sorry you are back here Lindsey! I really hope that the pill kicks in soon for you.
Yay! for DH being on board, I know that has to be a little bit of a relief.

I've never taken the pill, did they tell you anything about how long it could take? I think more than a few days they would want to see you.

Big Hugs!! All the anger is more than justifiable and understood here!

yea the info that came with it said at least one month or a full cycle... but my hubby is freaking out about it. He says how do you know its gone.. can they do a blood test. Be is refusing to TTC for 3 months because he wants to be sure. So its a hubby rule not the DR's. But I did find info online that said anything from 1-3 months wait.
I can give it a couple extra months for peace of mind that its all clear.

Friday when I talked to the nurse she said the pill can work right away or it can take some time... but who knows what "some time" means.

I was just freaking out because everyone I talk to and everything I read people are saying it started working for them in a couple hours. But most of them did vaginal not oral.
I talked to a freind who is a midwive in Canada and she just Emailed me saying if you take it orally it takes a lot longer to work but your cramping and pain my be less than vaginally.

So who knows..... I think this is just the hardest part. Its like knowing your period is about to start so you run to the bathroom at the sligtest feeling and scared to go in public for fear of a huge bleed out.
My first miscarriage was natural but started all on it own. then my second I went in for a D&C the next morning so this is now a totally new experiance for me.

God Lindsey, I'm so sorry... I don't have any advice or any past experiences to offer, I just wanted to stop by and say that I HATE seeing this for you. I thought you were golden... I'm sorry it ended up this way, I'm sorry you're left with so many questions, I'm sorry you have to wonder and wait... I just hope that it all gets better for you soon.

Ditto

I wish I could be of more help to you. If it were me, I would call the nurse line at your doctor and get them to call in more pills so you don't have to pay the copay. But that's just what I would do. I understand if you just want to wait and see if you can pass things naturally. However, I am not sure how long it is safe to wait for something like that before they do try to force a D&C (if it became detrimental to your health).

I'm sorry you're going through this I don't have any advice about taking the meds/natural miscarriage. I would give the doctor's office a call and see if they have any advice

Hugs Lindsey! I am so so sorry your going through this. I would call your doctor and ask how long it's safe to wait. I know you want to do it naturally so they might prescribe you another dose. But I would defiantly call since you said you were already dilated you don't want to stay that way for too long or you could get an infection.

I am so sorry. I would go ahead and call them. Worst thing the doctor's office can say is to wait longer. I hope you get some new soon!
