We had our IUI this morning, and it really went okay! We ended up with 15 million swimmers after the wash and I didn't have any cramping with the IUI. I'm not feeling super positive, but I am definitely okay with the way this went. Can't get more neutral than that
Actually, I am mostly feeling proud of myself. Last IUI, DH only had 5 million swimmers after the wash (and he had a previous borderline SA), so I started him on a bunch of vitamins, reduced our BDing to once every 60 hours, and had him take a Mucinex and drink some coffee an hour before he collected his swimmers. So I feel like I can take all the credit for him going from 40 million total sperm in each of his previous collections to 120 million total sperm today

Nicole - That rocks. 15 million washed is a really good number! My RE looks for over 10 million. Good job taking charge of your/your dh's fertility. Are you resting for the next few days? I hope you get pregnant!

Missy, unfortunately I have to work the next few days But I don't do anything too strenuous, maybe I'll just be lazier than usual

Nicole, that's fantastic!!! Do you mind sharing what you have him on? I have DH on some stuff but if I could cut it down, or change anything out, I'd love to...
DH takes a daily multi (Geritol with me)
Zinc
L Carnitine
L Arganine
Selenium
B6
B12
Vit E
Vit C
Fish Oil (that one he takes 'cause he likes to, not bc of me)
(He takes two of the C and the Arg.)

Erin, my DH takes:
- his multivitamin
- selenium
- zinc
- arginine (4 g a day! that's 8 pills for him)
I was going to have him take carnitine, but it's so expensive! I'm thinking about having him take my B complex, too. Your DH seems to be taking a good cocktail. I got this mix from a thread on TTC-MA.
