I'm not really upset because I knew this cycle was messed up from the BC. I started yesterday which I had thought was the first possible day but if my last period was 2/6, today should have been the first possible day for a 25 day cycle. This means I actually had a 24 day cycle which is just something new to add to the book I guess. So now over the past 10 months I've had cycles 24 days-30 days. Nice.
This is also the worst period that I can remember. I've been cramping for over a week now but when AF hit yesterday I thought I was dying. The worst cramps ever and even nauseous! Usually cramps hurt a little but not like this. Also the 2nd month in a row with no breast tenderness. This is unusual because they have always been tender since my first pregnancy with DD.
I'm going to chalk it all up to BC. I now know I can't handle Depo (evil evil drug), and can't handle low-dose BC like the Be-Yaz I was taking.
I was too sick this morning but starting tomorrow morning I'm going to start temping and I'm on pre-natals too. I'll start TTC slowly and see what happens before I start OPKs and other things. Here we go

I am so sorry you are going through this. How long has it been since your loss? I remember for me the first 3 periods were very heavy and cramping to the extreme that I almost went to the hospital. But as time went on my body regulated itself back. Why are you taking Birth Control? Were you preventing for a while?

I hope you feel better soon.

My last loss with a D&C was in November 2008 and I also had a chemical early last year. I started birth control because my body never regulated itself after my daughter's birth and each pregnancy/loss since then has made it even worse. I've had horrible periods, crazy cycles, horrible PMS... It's been a nightmare. I finally broke down to my new gyno here in TN where I moved to and he suggested the BC to get my system back on track. Unfortunately I'm horrible about remembering to take pills and the pills brought back my migraines which were so bad I've had to get shots 3 times since December to stop them. We weren't preventing so much as just making it a non-issue because we both know how my body is messed up and he/I just couldn't handle losing another baby. We're finally okay with TTC again and I'm back to the doctor this month and hoping he can fix me.

Hopefully things will get better for you soon. My doc wants me to go on BC as well and I am deathly afraid of the side effects.

Good luck on your TTC journey. Hope you get your BFP soon.
