Only if he has to, so maybe twice a year.
I used to know how, but it's been a long time.

This made me laugh because the thought of him dressing up for work is funny. We're both programmers, so it's jeans and tshirts for us.

Not usually, no. DH is a Marine, so he pretty much wears his cammie pajama's all the time Sometimes he'll have to wear a tie for one of his nicer uniforms. I don't know how to tie it... He says he does, but I don't think he really does... He just slips it around his head every time.

My BF is a lobsterman so no, he doesn't wear a tie...although he probably would if I ever made him dress up! LOL! I can tie a tie but only if it's on me. I can't tie one on someone else without really messing it up!

My dh is in the military so he wears camo most days . . . no tie required. Occasionally he has to dress up, because of his particular job, but I can't help him with his ties. He's tried to teach me, but I just can't remember how since I don't get enough practice I guess.

He doesn't have to wear a tie, just dress pants and a button down. I do know how to tie a tie. I used to work at a men's clothing store about 20 yrs ago so I had to learn.
I'm lucky, I get to wear scrubs everyday. So, no outfit picking for me.
