Ok so i knew my symptoms started early, and from researching found out that only hcg comes after implantation and only then symptoms start (Which started 3dpo for me).
I broke down today and went out and bought THREE hpts. One first response, one clear blue, and one no name brand.
I thought it's way too early today @ 8dpo but what the heck i've been having symptoms since thursday, which is more than enough for the hcg to get to my urine by the 2 days it does so according to things online.
I peed on it.
NOTHING, not even a control line, nothing. So i was like *** and took it apart and it was not together right. So i put everything in place and sealed it back up and noticed a very faint control line coming.
I left it to sit for about ten minutes while i ate waffles because i was going crazy staring at it.
I went back to the bathroom and there are CLEARLY two lines in the window.
Holy crap BFP!
I'm very excited, i knew it was going to be, i'm just scared poopless i'll lose it again. i'm going to wait until the weekend to take my second one and then a few days after my period was due to take the third one and then my nerves might slightly settle.

Yes
I would take another test. Taking apart the test and putting it back together may effect the results. Good Luck!

I took some of that brand before and let them sit and nothing showed up ever except the control line.
I am going to retest in a few days but even google says some tests can take up to ten minutes.
I know it's right anyway. I've been saying it since 3dpo.
And the fact that it was not put together right, it took a bit for the control line to even show up after i put it back together.
And i don't even think it was ten minutes, it was as long as it took me to eat one waffle.

As much as I hate to tell you this 3dpo you can't have symptoms... your not even producing HCG until implantation and that doesn't occur until 6-10 days after ovulation. I would wait a few days and test again

Sorry but you are wrong. You CAN.
Average is longer but that doesn't mean that some people don't implant earlier than others, everyone's body is different.
The last time i was preg i felt symptoms at 4dpo - not ohhh i am having the sniffles and feel a little sick, maybe i'm preg. Definite 100% i'm pregnant symptoms.
Everyone's body is different!
But i will be testing again in a few days.

Congrats to the double line! Which test did you take that you were able to take it apart? I never knew you could do that! (I guess I never tried...)

Congrats!
How sure are you about your O date? Do you chart? Use opks?
Just curious...

It was a first response early result......if you look down along the edge where the two sides are sealed together, youll see a bit about an inch that has a bit of a hole, kind of like how you get the back of a watch off, you can just stick your nail in that and pry it apart.
And i'm not 100% sure about my 0 date, i wasn't charting, testing or anything fancy. I just knew my signs of impending O started on Friday Feb 25 (lots of EWCM, cervix changes, very much in the mood) and i know i had ovulation pains on my right side on Monday Feb 28th, so i'm using that as my actual O date. We BD'd nearly every day of my cycle at least once anyway, except days 1-4. So there were probly millions of sperm in there just waiting for an egg lol.
