Spring is almost here! Do you do any spring cleaning?

Normally no for me, but I am thinking of taking the weekend and decluttering the house. I am not a pack rat at all but I feel like I own too much right now. I have clothes that I have not worn in 2 years.

My FB status Sunday was "Since Spring apparently decided not to come so that I could do my spring cleaning, I decided to do some cleaning so that Spring could come. Let's hope this works."

I keep things pretty clean but I have "trouble spots" that just collect stuff. Like the top of the fridge. It is a great place to put things so that DS can't get it but then I never seem to remember to get them down. Then 6 months later I have a ton of dusty things up there. So, I did my trouble spots and cleaned and steamed the floors. Then I cleaned all of the woodwork. That was enough for one day. Maybe when it actually gets warm in Ohio I will attempt the windows.

That's a definite YES to spring cleaning.... I want to clear out all of the things I don't use anymore... Plus I wanted to make room for the potential baby room.. (someday...)

I usually clean my basement after a winter of piling stuff down there lazily.

I've started going through my things and organizing. I've got piles of things to donate to a couple of thrift stores, junk that I just need to toss, and then a ton of dusting! I am SO eager to have a few warm days so I can open all of my windows and get the place aired out!

We just moved so I do not need much thorough cleaning. Just some basic cleaning.

We have a wood burner that we use during the winter. Every Spring I end up having to clean from it. Dh has a training this Saturday so my plan is to spend the day cleaning since no one will be home to get in my way.

Not so much in the past but this year I have started a huge clean out.
We have 4 bedrooms and no basement so the guestroom and the small room have been over taken by 3 years of Madisons baby stuff, toys, clothing. So I packed all of that up and put it in the attic.
We got her a big bed frame to go with the mattress set that was mine and whole new room set (bedding and curtains) and she is moving to the bigger room.
So my spring cleaning goal is to get that room cleared out and ready for Maidson.

Then I have to figure out what to do with her old room. It is decorated as unisex so if I can get pregnant again and acually make it to bring a baby home I was going to use that room and all that stuff again.

I did a big fall and winter clean when i moved in with my bf, so i don't have much left to do in the spring at all, plus once a week i'll go through the house and throw away clutter.

The plan is to fix up the yard though since there were quite a few small trees/weedy things around and i can't wait to do that.

And also a very throughout detailed cleaning of the cars.
