Wow, it was long! lol First my doctor took me into her office, which I love about her...None of my old OB's ever did that...She went over my chart, we talked about things etc...I did find out that I have 2 of the MTHFR Gene mutations...Because of that now that i'm pregnant and it's going good, she's going to call some perinatologist's in Seattle to see if I should be started on levonox and also an oral progesterone (I can't remember the name) from 16-32 weeks in my pregnancy...She might even send me down to have an appointment with a perinatologist (we don't have any near us)...She did the whole exam, except the pap since it made me bleed last time...She was very understanding and said we didn't need to do it...The best part was that I got an ultrasound again!!! Baby looks like a baby with a big huge head and a healthy heartbeat...She said my uterus was kind of tipped so she couldn't get a great picture, but the heartrate was 162 bpm and looked super healthy....I got a big goodie bag full of stuff, a book, planner, magazines etc...I'm going back in on March 30th for an appointment and NT scan.

That sounds like an amazing appt. Things seem to be going great for you this time!! Congrats on a baby 'that looks like a baby with a big head'. Can't wait to hear about your next appt!

first off congrats on the pregnancy (i am hoping i am late on a lot of these hehe) and it sounds like your appointment went great and your little bean is really starting to show definition. I love the pic.

Thanks ladies! My doctor kept being all happy, wanting me to be happy in return, but I just can't let myself feel that way yet...I mean i'm happy, but very reserved...I honestly don't think i'll feel good till the baby is actually born alive and healthy.
I'm in washington state
