First off- yes it was a BFN this morning, but as I'm only 9dpo that's not surprising.
RE appt- He talked to me about my history, and is convinced that my issue is egg quality at this point. He thinks that right now that 60% of my eggs are not viable. He's really basing this on- the multiple losses, but also on the more known factors of CJ's twin who early on didn't look right, and then the last lost with Spud having Trisomy 18. The thing I love about this doctor is then he flips it all around and says, so we are after the 40% of viable eggs, and since what we did last time worked, we do it again.
He also did a u/s and all looks good. My ovaries look great, and have lots of the pre-follicle cells. He could see where I ovulated this cycle, but of course could not see anything that was indicative of pregnancy yet.
He of course told me to stay away from soy- but I know he HATES soy anything, he is convinced it's not fit for human consumption
Told me to go ahead and stop the DHEA. He said it was the big buzz in infertility for a while, but then they determined that it only works in a small percentage of women, and that if it did work in me, then it's already had done it's job.
If AF shows next week, I go back on CD3 and we proceed with Injectables (may do a different brand than Gonal, but same stuff), trigger and IUI.
Best part is- although my insurance no longer covers infertility, today was basically free because I had a $450 credit on my account from last time!
