Hi ladies -
I went in for my 1st ultrasound today (my clinic is very nice to freaked out 37 year old multiple loss pregnant women by getting them in very quickly)...and they found a heartbeat!!!! Its beating 99 bpm right now, which from what I've heard, is good. The baby is measuring a bit small, at 5w 6d instead of my calculations (hey, I know when we DTD!!) of 6w 3d...but she said its nothing to really worry about. Besides, I have a tipped uterus and sometimes that can throw the measurements off some as well.

And they're being even nicer by doing YET ANOTHER hcg blooddraw, in addition to everythign else, and scheduled me for another ultrasound in 2 weeks just to ease my troubled mind... (told you they're nice...)

I'm so happy! A little worried about the size...but happy anyway.

Great news on seeing the heart beat. You doctors sound they are very caring. We saw the h/b last week and I go in this week for another u/s to make sure pumpkin is still growing.

Your doctor's office sounds wonderful! Why can't they all be like that? I'm so glad you saw the heartbeat and everything is looking good!!
