Hi Ladies,
It's a while since I've been here but I found such great support at one of the most difficult times of my life. A year ago in March I experienced one of the most devastating things I'd ever been through yet today, my little boy turned one week old.
I know I'm a lot luckier than some in that my TTC experience was short lived for which I'm truly thankful but I'm living proof that it can happen. However, the pain never leaves and hits you at the strangest times. Despite the happiness and love I feel for my newborn there was still a lump in my throat when I read our records - "Gravida - 2, live births, 1".
Magnus William was born a week ago by cesarean section with a true knot in his umbilical cord which no one knew about. He was meant to be.
It's a hard, painful journey, you're never as naive as you were and the loss never leaves you but miracles do happen.
Thank you to all the ladies here that put up with me and tried to keep me sane during my short stay.

Helen, I remember you from the September DDC, we had our NTs on the same day and you received your devastating news that day, I will never forget how heartbroken I was for you. I'm so happy to hear of your gorgeous Magnus. Congratulations.

Miss you too! You're next lady so get all the sleep you can now! He's a trouper though, sleeping 5 hours now we're working out the feeding part.
