My RE saw me today since we are going out of town tonight. Ultrasound looked good, could still see a small cyst or follicle on my left ovary, but small enough that it wasn't a concern.
They gave me 2 things of Follistim and the pen. I'll start it tomorrow evening 150cc's everyday then go back Monday morning for a recheck. We will decide then how much longer I will take the Follistim.
I love that they have the meds there, then they order 'mine' through the pharmacy and have them shipped there to replace these. Waiting on the pharmacy to call to see how much it's going to be. When I did Gonal before it was around $700 after insurance. Because they gave me two cartridges I'm guessing over $1000.
So now I turn myself into a pincushion and wait!

Good Luck Sam. I was on Follistim when we did our IUI in June and we got our BFP the first time. I hope this is what you need to get your bfp.

Oh my goodness, that IS expensive. Is that just for one cycle? Oof. I'm glad you get to do it through, or sorry you have to, depending on how you look at it. Nice to hear it was so successful for Stacey!

Man I'm good at predicting costs! Just got the call- insurance denied it all so $1007.00. OUCH!!
But if we don't use the second vial, and we get pregnant I may be able to sell the second vial through the doctors office. I think I just cleaned out my cafeteria fund also!

Darn expensive injectables! But when you get that BFP, you'll forget about the money spent
