I am tired today. Going to spend the weekend going through Marthas things we brought back with us. I have like 5 bins of pictures to go through. I am sure they will make me smile and cry all at the same time.

How are you feeling today? Overwhelmed & Frustrated - It's going to be 80 degrees today and I'm inside until 5pm. Plus I'm I can hardly wait til next week to test!
Any plans this weekend? Can I vent for a moment??

This weekend I will work on my house, work on my house, and work on my house. We completely gutted our house last June and couldn't even move in until September. There is a HUGE list of stuff that will take 10 years to finish. I love my house, but I'm so overwhelmed. This weekend is planting bushes, repotting my baby veggies, cleaning and finishing the garden for plowing by Sunday, not to mention getting roses under control (so far I've found eight ares of roses and it took me 2 hours just to clear one and get it under control!), laying edging around all the beds, plotting the playground, work on painting the trim in the ENTIRE house, finish my dining room chairs, get yardsale stuff together... All this on top of the laundry, cleaning, and of course grocery shopping I put off for 2 weeks (down to 1/2 roll of TP!) Too much!!! I mean last night I shoveled dirt onto beds for the bushs until dark and then dinner and helped DH with his homework, and DD with her homework.

Soooooo, I broke down and hired a cleaning lady to come Monday and clean my bathrooms and floors, etc. First time I have done this in my life, but I'm at the breaking point and this house is huge. There is only one of me! I'm going to keep the cleaning lady a secret because I'm scared certain family members/friends would call me lazy. On top of this I have to work in Atlanta all Wednesday & Thursday next week (I "commute" 1 or 2 times down there every week) so I leave Tuesday night with DD (spring break) and the puppy which means I lose three days in the yard.

Okay, vent for pity over

Missy enjoy looking at the pictures you brought back to you. They will make you cry but you will have so much fun remembering. You should take one of your favorite pictures and make a memorial candle for Martha. Dh's mom's name is Martha also.

Hungry. LOL. I woke up so hungry it hurt, but it was to the point that NOTHING sounded good. So I'm still hungry--but having a hard time deciding what to eat. That's what I get for going to bed without dinner.

I don't have any major plans this weekend, playing it by ear.

I'm feeling optimistic about my possible job opportunities and even though the kids and I all went to the dentist and I had to spend $500 I'm still feeling pretty good!

Only plan for the weekend is to clean the house and take ds 1 & 2 to see Mars Needs Moms . . . they've been begging and since the weather seems to be getting colder we might as well waste our time inside a movie theatre!

Meeeeeeeee too!

How are you feeling today? Fan-freaking-tastic. DH, a friend and I went to this amazing Cajun restaurant for dinner. DH and I split a pound of crawfish for an appetizer and I had a cornbread muffin with LOTS of butter, followed by chicken & andoullie sausage jambalaya, and finished up with some pecan-pie cheesecake. Plus about four glasses of sweet tea to wash it all down with... Ran by the store and picked up a bottle of wine to pop open, and we're about to sit down and play Wheel of Fortune on the PS3. It's a good day

Any plans this weekend? Saturday we're gonna help a friend move, brunch-ish. I also have homework to do for an online class and a TON of studying. Sunday we have an oncology department meeting at the hospital and I'll finish up my studying, and Monday (which is usually part of my weekend) I'll be at the hospital for a good 8 hours watching simple "procedures" (like inserting IVs, foley catheters, etc.), helping people walk, and being helpful and smiley to all our patients

The past few days have actually been really good for me, I think this is the third day in a row I've really enjoyed. This weekend promises to bring a few more. Maybe I'm coming out of my slump finally
