Ok, so I bought some soy isoflavones yesterday and I have some questions before I open them.
1. What day to I start taking them and for how long? I know this has been mentioned before, but I don't know when.
2. The pills are 1000mg, but the isoflavones themselves are 65mg. Is this the right kind? What is the other 935mg? The other one only had 30mg of isflavones.
Thanks
I am on CD3 now and suspect I am supposed to start taking them today.

I haven't taken them before, but I remember some of the girls started on cd3. They'd definitely be more help than me.

Some girls take them CD3-7 and some take them CD5-9... I seem to remember at one point people liked the CD5-9 better, but then I heard about a lot of CD3-7, so hopefully someone who loves soy will chime in for you You should also take them at night in case you have any side effects you can sleep through them.
I think that my pills had 40 mg soy isoflavones and they were 40 mg pills. I would take 2-4 pills on each day depending on what dose I was trying that cycle. I'm not sure what pills you got... could you tell us the brand name?

Can you post a picture of the bottle? I want to double check what you have before I say anything.

I think these aren't the right ones. I think it also has regular soy. I see now that it says "Isoflavone Rich"

Go to walmart and get a bottle. They are $6. Take 3 of them tonight through cd 7. Take them in the pm because the biggest side effect I have heard is hotflashes. This way you shouldn't feel anything at all.
Looking forward to your bfp!

PS. Take some Robitussin as well this month. I took 1 generic Robitussin a day starting when the opk started to get sort of positive until after ovulation and I think that helped a lot. Our CM tends to dry up even more as we get older. Make sure it is the Robittussin with guaifenesin in it.

I took the Walmart ones as well. I took my CD5-9. Since it's like Clomid 5-9 will give you one (maybe two) really good follies where the lower days are supposed to give you more follies. I didn't have any side effects from the soy. Good luck!!

I bought some that say 50mg on the front, but under supplement facts it says "(40% isoflavones = 20mg)". The Walmart one doesn't have a picture of the back label. We don't have many Walmart here and the ones we do have can suck away your soul. So, I got these from GNC.

I compared the back of your label to mine and it looks similar. Did you take them yet?

How many milligrams' worth of actual soy isoflavones did you end up taking?

Hm, I'm gonna say that's pretty low... The least I ever hear of someone taking when they start off is 80mg, although I'm no expert, so someone correct me if I'm speaking out of my behind here... Personally I take 160mg. 80mg didn't really do much for me, and I ended up skipping 120mg based on some things I read online. 160mg CD 3-7 worked well for me, it moved my O day up to CD 16, earlier than it's ever been! But I'm gonna say 60mg is probably just a wee bit on the low side.
