Did you know your pregnancy tests are deductible?

Is It Deductible? We Evaluate 12 Common Expenses

Yes. A pregnancy test, like any other diagnostic test (including, for example, a blood sugar test kit), is deductible.

I thought all the POAS addicts would like this . I got the information from the RPL board.

Ditto!

Can you imagine being audited and the IRS asking "Why did you spend $2,940 on pregnancy tests"?

Holy cow (not the exact words that came out of my mouth). That's awesome. I knew that all breast feeding supplies were deductible : pumps, nipple shields, you name it.

It would be nice if they included the publication numbers so that you could verify it.

I use funds from my flexible spending account to buy hpts and opks. We also use to use those funds to buy condoms when we were preventing. It blows my mind some of the stuff that is deductible!

I agree. I wouldn't want Dh to know how much I spent on test. At least I don't have to spend any more money on test.

Yeah I wish they would include the tax code. But I am sure if you looked up the information on medical testing or diagnostic testing you would find it. Most "normal" people only buy one or two . But I know that the addicts spend lots haha. Save money where you can is my moto.
