I am watching the show "The lottery changed my life". If you won the lottery, what would you do?
Did you know that men named Tim win the lottery more than any other name?

Depending on how much I won id def make sure I had enough set aside for retirement and college for a few kids(my future kids, my nephew, and df kids). Buy a house, buy tons of pg tests and o test lol. My dream from a child was to be a stay at home mom so id be able to..... if I can't keep a pg (so far I haven't beeen able to) id adopt or find a seraget (sp?). Def donate to animal charities and help others who have problems ttc/who want to adopt. And spoil the hell outta my mom! And more tats/piercings. Lol

I would pay off my debt, pay off my parents house and buy them both a vehicle and give them money to retire, give Dh's parents money to retire, buy my brother & sister a house and put the rest into savings

I would give my whole family enough money to pay off stuff and give some money to my church for our building program.

I'd first pay off all our bills and the house and make sure that both my stepson's college funds were overflowing (and my new baby for whne he/she goes to college!). Next, I'd pay off all my sister's debts and my parent's debts (although they don't have many since they actually managed their money well...one trait I apparently did not inherit!). Then I'd make sure that there was enough in an account for my sister to always have access to her medications (she had a heart transplant a few years ago and the meds are expensive without insurance) and then I'd donate, donate, donate. I'd randomly help people out, like pay for the groceries for the person behind me in line, or pick a family at a resturant and pay their bill without them knowing. Fun things like that that just make someone's day.
Then we'd throw the rest into a high interest account and live off the interest.
I'd just love to win the lottery just to be able to help so many people with it.

Well, first of all, we'd have to clarify what winning the lottery meant. If it means one million dollars, then about the only thing I'd be able to do after taxes is pay of my house ($450K) and my car ($10K) and my home equity loan ($30K). Maybe I'd have enough left over to finish our attic or something like that. If we had anything substantial left over, I would invest it.
