Did I Miscarry? I'm so lost..

I was curious as to if i actually had a miscarriage. I had many signs of pregnancy including missing a period. I had a negative preg test, but I new in a way I most likely was pregnant. Since my period was due the 6th of march. Now its the 20th, however march 19 i suddenly had bad menstrual cramps at work and was bleeding immeadiatly. This is not my usual cycle. I normally cramp for a good day before anything. And at night it looked like i passed a clot, that had a small pinkish/white ball (reminded me of a seahorse in a way). I would have been about 5 weeks along. I was looking up and supposedly I needed to keep that and bring it to the drs for examination. However i no longer have it. I didn't even think about keeping it or anything. Now my hubby and I just feel lost, me especially since he is right now stationed in germany. I don't know what to do, feel or even think.

Welcome to TTCAL. I am so sorry you have to be here. As far as your question it's hard to say if you had a loss or not if you didn't have a positive test or a BT from a doctor. How are your cycles normally? How are your AF's normally? I would call your doctor and get an appointment and discuss this with them.

I don't know that you would have seen anything at 5 weeks either, but I am not sure.

I'm so sorry your go through such a confusing time. I agree with Katie that it's hard to know what happened without any positive tests, but it is definitely worth it to sit down with your doctor.

How many pregnancy tests did you take and did you test the one day? It does make it hard to determine if you tested and it was negative. You might have tested early for the test to not have pickied it up. I would talk to your doctor and have them take a blood sample. They can determine if your HCG/ beta levels are high or at zero. After a miscarriage your levels start to drop back to zero. Hope you find an answer....

I called my OB/GYN and they didn't quite know so they had me get some blood drawn to see if there was any hormones in my blood. My periods are very regular I can count on them on the same day every month. This is why I am lost. I seemed to be regular so when I missed my cycle and had quite a few signs of pregnancy I was very happy. I didn't even realize i missed my period until I realized I didn't have any PMS symptoms. Many of my 'symptoms' were similar to what my mom experienced when she had me. I will keep all of you updated.

I took two pregnancy tests. One about 3 days after my period was due, and the other one at the end of the week (Sunday). I've heard of False Positives and my friend experienced 3 false positives before she found out she was pregnant. I was planning on testing at the end of the month, but all of this happened so I am very unsure.

Okay I just got a call from the OB and they said I was pregnant and I did loose the baby....

Should I tell my husband??

I think you said he knows it was a possibility, if so I would tell him.
It must be hard with so far away, please come to us for support anytime

Thank you so much! It is hard, I don't know how much I'm supposed to grieve or even if I should. He is over in Germany and I am here in the states. We can try again, I just do not want to lose another one again.

I am so sorry for you loss. If it was me I would tell my husband. I know your husband is away. He can still help you through this time. I don't keep anything from my husband.
