That sounds good. I will probably have a salad since we seem to have an over-abundance of lettuce. Maybe I can get my husband to pick up some grass-fed beef for hamburgers.

Doesn't homegrown beef taste so different? I lived with my friends on a farm for a few years when the boys were little and we had cows. The meat was awesome!

It taste a lot better. I love having our own beef. I get attached and spoil the cows so I am always sad when we butcher but I love having our own beef. If dh wants a rare steak I know we cook it rare because I know what they are fed. We make our feed for the cows and other animals. Before I met dh I didn't like egss anymore. After I had fresh eggs from our chicken I love eggs now. I can't get store eggs though.

I totally agree!! Farm fresh eggs are SO much better...same with meat and milk. I absolutely love fresh from the farm organic milk. It is so good!

My BF is in charge of dinner tonight so I'm not sure what we're having. He's a much better cook than I am though so it's got to be good!
