*Update and Question*

SO I got my first positive on 3/22 AM. I got 4 more positives 3/22 PM, 3/23 AM and PM, and this morning around 10 am and it was the darkest so far. I just took another one and it was negative. Does that mean I ovulated between this morning's positive and the negative I just got? Should I BD again today just to make sure?

Depending on the brand of the test, you'll ovulate something like 12-72 hours after your first positive. (I think average is 36 hours after your first positive.) Do you monitor your CM? You should keep BDing until either you have a temp rise, or your CM is no longer fertile. There's no way to confirm ovulation from just OPKs, and even CM monitoring won't confirm ovulation, but in combination with OPKs it will give you a window of when you're fertile, then tell you you're no longer fertile.

I try...lol, but I am never really sure, not much of a difference than normal. That's why I decided to use OPK's. I think I'll just BD again to be safe. I'm also wondering if it could have been a false positive since I tested kind of early in the AM (SMU).

It's recommended not to use FMU with them, but since I use cheapies I'll take 1-3 a day starting at CD 10 and can get positives any time of day. I've gotten them at 8pm, 5am, 3pm, literally all throughout the day, using FMU, SMU, testing right before bed... It might sound gross, but I monitor CM on my toilet paper. When I sit down to pee I'll wipe first (starting around CD 10 and lasting until my CM dries up). Then while I'm peeing if there's noticeable CM on the paper I'll pinch it and stretch it to see what it's like... Then when I'm done peeing I wash my hands and have answers and an empty bladder I'm not one of those people who can reach inside myself and monitor CM... That freaks me out.

Me too. It's always a little unsettling to hear the state of sponginess of someone's cervix because then I start picturing the process of diagnosing it.

Usually you O between 24-48 hours after the positive OPK so I'd say just BD the next 3 days to be safe
