I haven't posted here much, but I figure if I am gonna get to know you ladies I have to jump right in!

Last week I had my blood drawn to test my hormones. The nurse called with results today. I didn't get specific numbers but she said its consistent with PCOS and pre diabetes. Pretty much what I expected. I have a lot of symptoms of PCOS. The next step is an ultrasound. I assume he will put me on metformin or birth control.

I'm glad to actually have an explanation for our difficulties!

I'm glad you got some answers. Sometimes the not knowing is harder than knowing...if that makes sense (sorry, it's really early).

There are a few girls in here that have PCOS. I hope now that you have a diagnosis, you are able to get the support you need and get pregnant soon!

Glad you got answers. After 3 losses I just found out 2 weeks ago I too have it and was put on Metformin.
I have a ultrasound tomorrow to make sure the miscarriage was complete and going to see if he will double check my ovaries.

I don't have any experience with PCOS, just wanted to say I'm sorry about your loss and sorry that you have PCOS, but glad you got an answer and are moving toward a gameplan
