I read somewhere that Maca is a "fertility super food" and was wondering if any of you have tried it and had success? From what I've read, both women and men should take it and it is supposed to balance hormones, improve sperm count, and increase libido.

I took it for a few months last year. Unfortunately it did not help us at all. Many girls swear by it so I hope it works for you!

It is, but generally used for men. So have DH take it

It's basically related to sweet potatoes/yam family.... people in the Andes eat them like crazy and say that's why they're so fertile.

If I had to go out on a limb and guess why some people who live in the mountains have such high fertility rates, I would say it has less to do with these yams and more to do with their lack of plastics, chemicals, processed foods and pollution. They also probably have less cancer, heart disease, diabetes and tooth decay.

Thanks ladies. My BF will love that I'm pushing that on him along with his vitamins! LOL! And that's a good point about the people in the Andes.

The baby llama is adorable!!!
