So I started testing at 7 DPO with Answer tests (FRER were sold out and I wanted a pink dye test). I know it is early, but I cannot bare that it is taking so long for me to get pregnant again. Anyway, the packet had 3 tests and all three came up with a second light line one day after another. After looking at the test for second, I confirmed it was more of an indent and not a second pink line. Basically an evap.
So I send my husband out yesterday for more tests (I was wrong about my dates with my AF because I forgot that last month had 28 days and not 30-I know I'm slow Lol) and he brings me another batch of 2 Answer tests. Ugh. I decide whatever. Maybe this last packet was a fluke and these will be better. Yesterday evap. This morning when I thought AF was due, evap. So basically I will NEVER buy Answer tests again. Maybe it was a huge batch with evaps, but I hate getting my hopes up. That's why I never buy blue dye tests.
Anyway I am still holding out hope for my BFP, but I am pretty sure that I am out this cycle. Why isn't it happening for me? I am afraid that it is going to be another 2 or more years just to get pregnant again. Ugh!!!

I am so sorry you are going through this. After 2+ years of TTC I fully understand. ((Hugs)) I would call them and tell them their tests gave false positives and maybe you can get a product replacement.

I am tempted to dig the tests out of the trash and do that. Luckily my hubby is lazy and never takes out the bathroom's trash. He claims ignorance when I ask him about it too. It's his only chore. *sigh* Men......

I am so sorry to hear that, it is so very frustrating. I am also surprised to hear that Answers are giving EVAPS. I had never heard of those doing that, but I am sure it is possible.
But hopefully maybe a BFP is lurking around the corner since your just 12dpo...
GOOD LUCK!

Good idea!
Sorry that happened to you. I always use the Answer brand (once I get VERY VERY Faint line on an IC) and have never had an evap. Could be just a bad batch.

I never got an evap on an answer once the full time was up but if I watch them like a hawk while the time is going I always swear there is a line... and then..... nothing :-( but never an evap.. so yeah, maybe just a bad batch

Sorry you are going through this. I agree with Missy about calling the company to see if they can give you a refund.

FRER definitely gives refunds, I've had the cost of a box refunded to me once before. Well no, what I mean is, they sent me a voucher to get a free box. I'd hope Answer would do the same.

I used Answer tests this past cycle because I was tired of the really visible indent line on the FRER's. I got the same 3 test box and had horrible horrible evaps on all three of them.
