Warning I had my d&c on Monday. I only spoted on Monday. Tuesday night I got sick and was throwing up all evening. I am not running a fever. Yesterday I started with real bad cramps. Cramps that were taking my breath away and I couldn't walk. If you ever had real bad gas pain it feels something like this but doubled. It feels like my body is trying to push my insides out. I also started bleeding yesterday. Is this normal? I had something like this with the first d&c and I ended up in the hospital with an infection and on a morphine pump for the pain. I can usually tolerate pain but this is pushing my limits. I know you can bleed after the d&c. I know you can have cramps after the surgery. These aren't normal cramps.

I would get to a doctor quickly, since you said they aren't normal cramps. To be on the safe side. (((HUGS)))

I have no idea. You should call your doctor and see what they think.

I'd definitely call the doctor or go to the ER if the bad cramps continue.

Go to your doctor. Do not call them and let them blow you off. Just go there and tell them what is going on and you need to be looked at. I had super bad cramping like you are describing but not until my first AF cycle.
It does not sound normal Stacey and with your history there is no reason to mess around.

I have a call into the my Doctor office. His nurse is usually at her desk after to so I am going to try to get hold of her. The cramping has calmed down some. It comes and goes. When it comes I can't even sit down it hurts.

I did start bleeding several days after mine like you are BUT I wasn't in any pain. I was only given advil and told if the pain was too bad to call.

WWith my d&c, I bled in the hospital then stopped for a couple days then it came in pretty heavy. I don't think I had cramps bad, but my stomach muscles were so sore that it hurt to move. If you feel like you are in more pain then you should be, I'd have it checked out. It can't hurt! Good luck!

I don't have any experience, just wanted to say that I hope things resolve soon, and that your doc's office is able to help you get some answers.

I agree with Missy go to the ER. You know your body and if this doesn't feel normal then go.

Thank you everyone. I called my doctor but his nurse is out today. I am home and not doing much. The cramping has slowed down alot. It's a weird feeling to describe to someone.
