It's that time again, we've had ALLOT of new members join us and EVERYONE old, new, regular, not regular to PLEASE REVIEW & READ the TTCAL rules....

TTCAL Rules:

These are just some general guidelines for posting on this board. If you have any questions or comments regarding them, please PM the hosts of the board.

If you are pregnant and you’re posting regarding your pregnancy, we ask that you please put ‘Pregnancy Mentioned’ in the title. Posts that do not contain "Pregnancy Mentioned" in the title will be reported so that a Moderator can edit the post to include it.

If you are miscarrying or asking a question regarding miscarriage, it would be appreciated if you put ‘Miscarriage Mentioned’ in the title as some ladies might be going through the same thing and might not be ready to read about another member's miscarriage. This however, is NOT a requirement.

No one is required to turn off their siggy when posting on this board, but keep in mind that there are members who are grieving and may be upset when viewing siggies that contain pregnancy tickers and other pregnancy related graphics.

Graduates (ladies who become pregnant and/or have had a baby after their miscarriage) of TTCAL do NOT have to leave the board! We all want and will be Grads at some point, and therefore, we want our Grads to stick around.

When posting ANYTHING, please keep in mind that there are other ladies viewing the posts who are grieving and you might upset someone. Please just take a minute to read your post before hitting the submit button. If something offends or upsets you, please hit the button and a Moderator can review the post.

Just some more info on our Board!

On the main board we have a roll call and test list that I update every month. So please take a look it is listed under the Stickies in pink.. please post so we can get to know you a little better. Also take a look at our Cycle groups.. This is just a group to follow and obsess with other ladies in the same stage of TTC as you, it helps the time go by... and can get quite interesting at time . These are open to any and everyone... Please Jump in!

For those totally new to the board here is a link for the abbreviations...

http://www.justmommies.com/forums/f2...-and-info.html

Please also look to the Pink sticky area for our Rules..

And Chat is held on Mondays... 9pm-11 EST in the TTC Room. If you look under the Just Mommies Message Board, you will se Home, UserCP... than the last one is Chat.

Under the UserCP... this is were you can add blinkes (like you see in our siggies)

I hope this infor answers some questions.. Please ask if you have any other questions!

~~~~
I am also posting this under the Rules as a FYI.....
It has been a few months since posting this. This is in NO WAY asking people to leave or to move on to other boards. This is for information only!:
Hello all TTCAL ladies..
Over the past few weeks we have had a lot of "newbies" WELCOME! and Some of our "oldies" have had their BFP's CONGRATS! and some have went on to rejoin us again... ..
I am taking this moment to make sure you all are aware of the other boards that maybe have interest or give you support or information that you may need.
For our newbies... I know sometimes, other ladies getting their BFP maybe a bit overwhelming.. Some weeks we have "BFP Booms" other weeks we have none. Sometimes it feels like everyone is sharing in on their good news and updates.. This may make you feel down or alone... I know sometimes It can get to me.. This is when I go to the
Pregnancy Loss Board.
Pregnancy Loss - JustMommies Message Boards
If you have more than one Loss we have the Recurrent Miscarriage and Pregnancy Loss..
Recurrent Miscarriage and Pregnancy Loss - JustMommies Message Boards
For our Ladies that get thier BFP's We have the Pregnancy after Loss Board... These ladies can help you get through the anxiety and questions you may have after you get your BFP's
Pregnancy After Loss - JustMommies Message Boards
We also have boards for our ladies that are TTC with certain medical conditions..
Trying to Conceive With PCOS - JustMommies Message Boards
Trying to Conceive with Endometriosis - JustMommies Message Boards
And lastly.... For those ladies who have been trying 6+ months and more than a year... we have boards for them...
TTCAL 6 Months + - JustMommies Message Boards (this is on our Board)
Trying to Conceive Six Months + - JustMommies Message Boards
Trying to Conceive 1 Year + - JustMommies Message Boards
I hope you all check out these other boards, I know I use our board here and 3 other listed above...
Some weeks/days are better than others.. TTCAL is a hard road to travel. While yes the support here is wonderful, some times it hurts to be reminded with the good news of others.. This is always a touchy subject on this board.. But it is also part of our board. That is why we ask when you post about BFP's or pregnancy that you post it in your title. The journey for us Starts at the loss of our baby... and will not end untill we have a baby in our arms. For some this journey is short.. while others our journey has taken a lot longer than we anticapated. Please be mindfull of the ladies of this board, and were they are on thier journey....
BABY
XOXO
Kary
Ladies...
Over the past few days I have more request for the Private Place than I have Since becoming host of this board. For people who only want to "lurk" at what was posted.
To have the password you must have been active on the board for 30 days and have 150 posts on our board.
The private place is for people who feel they need to post something they feel can not be posted on the main board.
Please only request the password if you have an issue that you feel can not be put on the main board. Since issues that are posted in the Private place can be of a very sensitive matter.
Thank You.
Also, ladies... we've been, because of the sudden influx of password requests for the "The Private Place" are considering the amount of posts needed & length of time as a member of TTCAL both be upped in order to access it. There have been ladies who are not even a part of TTCAL requesting, big no no. We will automatically deny those
old requirements are as follows: (meeting BOTH requirements)
1) You must be an active member of the TTC After Loss board for 30 days
2) You must also have 150 posts to access this board. Now, you can PM either myself or Kary as to how to gain access... but refrain from doing so if you have not met BOTH requirements.
Also the NEW requirements.... (meeting BOTH requirements)
1) Member must be an active member of TTCAL board for 90 days
2) Member must also have at least 300 posts to access the private forum
I apologize in advance, but the private place is just for that privacy for things that one does not want posted on the main board for fear of judgment, hurt feelings, misunderstanding, avoid drama and so on. It's also a place where generally members who have been here for a while, more than just a month.
We've never had any issues with the Private Place because it is a limited access forum for members that have been a part of this board for some time. Other boards have had issues with their private forums allot of times because the rules &/or limitations are not be adhered to. So, the hosts have to get the password changed. Some members have had their accounts suspended for abuse or drama making. However the integrity of our private place has been upheld as to the careful consideration of those given the password.
There is no offense as to being denied access until the requirements have met, that's just general rule for it. After you've met the requirements, then we will reassess and welcome you to the private forum... appreciate you very much for understanding ladies!
Again a BIG THANK YOU in advance... we have a very sensitive themed board, Trying To Conceive After Loss... a loss, a miscarriage, a pregnancy loss, stillbirth, preterm stillborn... all of which are so devastatingly painful. Emotions run high and sensitivity levels vary as we're each at a different stage of loss and trying. TTC in general is hard and add miscarriage to that can be a challenging, painful journey... can be exciting and wonderful as well... but we're all here together, lift each other up when needed, compassionate words and supportive friendships. We have an AWESOME board! Keep up the greatness ladies!
I also want to suggest that those who DO have access to the Private Place forum be selective as to what you post in there... sometimes if you share your fears or feelings with ladies on the main board you'll find that there are others that feel, have gone thru those same feelings! So it's ok, just a suggestion... some of us are more reserved about our feelings than others, but that is what this board is for. We have all shared a very intimate part of our lives, our grief from our losses and our losses period!
