Metformin users????

I am starting to up my dose now. I was taking 500MG at night
I am supposed to be taking 1000MG a day but he told me to take just 500mg until I get use to it so I dont upset my tummy so bad.

So here is my ????
I am not on the ER just regular... would you take it all at one time at night? Or 1 in the morning and 1 at night?

i would half that additional one you need to add for the first week the go on full dose

that stuff is not fun to suffer the side effects

i was on 2000mg NO FUN AT ALL

Well I was told not to cut these pills it can mess them up.
I have been on 500mg for 3 weeks now so adding the second 500. Was supposed to add it at 2 weeks but im a baby.

I just did not know if I should break it up into 2 times a day or just do it all at once?

I'm on the ER kind now because I tolerated it better but when on the regular kind they had me do one in the AM and one in the PM.

Think I need to start that tomorrow I just took all 1000mg tonight with dinner and my tummy is not liking it.

It's probably not going to like it at first either way you take it because it's a higher dosage and your body is going to have to get used to it.

OH FUN....NOT...lol

I got use to it pretty quick the first time so I hope its as fast this time.
OH well I can deal with it if it gets me my rainbow baby.
My acne has cleared up as well. I also have not had a headache since I have been on it (is that something it supposed to help with?) and I usually get 2-3 a week.

It does help clear of the PCOS symptoms

I am on the regular Metformin but I take all of mine at night. I am bad though. With my body going through all the changes with this loss I have been off of it since Friday. I am not looking forward to going back on it. I am going to start tomorrow since I will be home and take it 3 times a day.

I hope you body gets use to the new dosage quick.
