Its crazy is what it is... All these years I have been complaining about not feeling good, not being able to sleep, thinking I have over active bladder, thinking about seeing a dermatologist about my skin, had laser hair removal etc. My weight I never thought about because I was around 155-160 (but just got up to 165 in Jan) but I dont excersize and eat a lot of sweets so I just thought thats where all my extra weight came from... I am only 5'4. But now that I am on the Met I am down to 152 (13 pounds down). I would love to be in the 130's and got Zumba for Wii for my B-day and was going to start that this week
I am amazed at how many things that are wrong with me are now being fixed by a little pill.
I kept going to my family DR because all this keeps getting worse as I get older.
-The tiredness she tested my thyriod and anemic panel (all normal) Then told me its just part of getting older and with having a Toddler I should expect to be tired. UGH but my friends with 2-3 kids were all runnin circles around me.
-the potty thing she did a urine sample and said nothing can be found and just dismisted it.
I asked my OB if this is just something I am on while TTC and pregnant and he said no I can be on it after if its working for me. He said I can even stay on it my whole pregnany to help reduce a chance of GD because PCOS mommys have a higer chance of getting it.... but I need to ask if its safe to take while breastfeeding because if the next baby is anything like DD I nursed her for 2.5 years.
