I know a couple of you ladies have tried either just Femara or both of them. How are the side effects with Femara? We were planning on trying 2 more cycles of Clomid after this one if it didn't work. It kills me, but I CANNOT take Clomid again. DH is out of town until Friday and I am a total basket case. I suffer from depression and anxiety already and now with the hormones I'm having panic attack after panic attack. I keep having this stupid irrational fear that DH is with another woman right now, I've cried for almost 48 hours straight, and I haven't eaten anything since Friday night. I really don't want to give up on getting pregnant but I can't do the Clomid again. DH even had me promise him I'd throw away my last pill instead of taking it.

I have no experience with femera, but wanted to reach out and say if your hormonal side effects get you on a severe emotional rollercoaster I would suggest that you talk to your doctor about alternatives. I hope you find the help that you need. Hugs

This is my first cycle with the Femara and honestly I haven't really had any side effects. I took it at bedtime on CD 2. Took 12 pills and that is all I had to do. Clomid I was a total nut and DH hated me on it. I'm so glad I switched. I don't blame you for not wanting to take it anymore and I would ask your doctor for the Femara.

I can so relate to your Clomid experience. I endured it for one cycle and the Dr agreed I was never to do it again. The headaches were debilitating, the mood swings scary, I got ulcers on my tongue, etc. Horrible! My reproductive system loved it though. Ugh! So I decided to go ahead with Femara the next cycle and it was a dream come true. No side effects at all, and my body reacted perfectly to it. Good luck!!
I have also taken both Clomid and Femara.. I didn't have any real side effects with either of them, but I did have nice follies each cycle on both. I really hope it works for you
