After talking to Dh all week we have decided to try 1 more time for our rainbow baby. Dh is really leaving it up to me. The only worry he has is if we lose another baby. Dh doesn't like to see me hurt and he doesn't like to see me go through surgery. I take each one of the losses hard and blame myself even though I know shouldn't. As much as it scares me of loosing another baby the desire to be a mom and to make Dh a dad is stronger.
I have a follow up appointment with my Ob on April 12th. My Ob already said that he will do the genetic testing on Dh and I. I am wondering what other testing I should ask for? I know there are clotting disorder testing. I don't know the name's of the test for the clotting disorder.
Until we have the testing done I guess we are on a ttc hold. I am ok with this. It gives me two months to lose weight.

YEAH STACEY.
My OB has a huge list of things he has tested me for and I can not remember all of them. I know they did a clotting panel after my last loss and then last week he did MTHFR & Proten s&c on me since my HCG was almost zero.
Also next pregnancy he is going to give me a weekly ultrasound for peace of mind. He said he is only going to do blood levels until we can see things on ultrasound but I think I am going to ask if we can keep doing those too. I would really like to see what my progestrone is doing, but he said your progestrone is constantly moving up and down and it will drive you nuts trying to follow it... so not sure what to do. I really like my DR and want to just trust his best judgement and not be to pushy to upset them.
For me trying to keep TTC just gives me hope and something to look forward to. I feel if I just give up it will hurt me more in the long run. DH and I agreed that once the next baby is born we are done. He is going and getting the snip..lol
Maybe we can be DDC buddies!!!

It sounds like you have a good plan. I don't know all of the testing that they do but I hope your doc covers all bases and can help you get your rainbow baby. Your DH seems like a wonderful support system for you. I'm glad he's on board with whatever you decide. Good luck!

Stacey I would ask them to run the tests for recurrent m/c. They have a panel of BT for that. It tests for all sorts of things. I'm glad your going to try again and I'm praying you get your rainbow baby.

Stacey, I'm glad you are really starting to think about moving forward. I agree with Katie, there is a whole panel of recurrent pregnancy loss tests that you should get done. I really hope they find some answers for you

I'm excited for you to start TTC again and get your rainbow baby. I'd also question family as much as you can about family history. I never knew that my grandmother was hypothyroid until after I was diagnosed.

Thank you everyone for the help. I saw my regular doctor yesterday to get something for my nerves and she put me on wellburtrin after she talked to my ob. My ob is right next to my regular doctor's office. My ob asked her how I was doing after surgery. I am really scared about ttc again but I feel in my heart if we don't try one more time that I will be letting myself down and letting Bill down.
Sam, I really can't ask my family about history. I cut my dad's family out of my life when I was 17 years old. After my mom passed away I cut my mom's family out. To make a long story short my mom's sister started a lot of things after she passed away so I just cut them out. I know my mom had a hard time conceiving me. She had PCOS also even though she never really got diagnosed with it.
