Hi ladies,
My name is Hollie and I was a member of TTC#1 for a long time. I haven't posted on JM much lately just because of time, but I had a recent loss and a few other JM friends who have come here told me what a great support this board is. I had a m/c about a week and a half ago and I should have been 11 weeks pg. I had known from about 9 weeks that my pregnancy was not viable, but it was still tough. I'm doing a lot better emotionally, but have found great support in a few people who I know who have gone through something similar, so I thought I would come here, too. Thanks for reading. I'll be around here a bit and I look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Hollie. I'm so sorry about your loss Of course it was hard, whether early or late when it's something we want so badly, loss is hard at any stage. TTCAL really is a great group of ladies, I've found a ton of support here since losing my Drew. Anytime you want to vent, be excited, or just play games with us, that's what we're here for You were part of TTC #1, so do you chart? Use OPKs? We like to stalk here

Welcome Hollie! I am sorry for you loss. Any loss is hard to go through. This board is full of great ladies. I have had 3 losses and I don't know how I would have made it through the losses without the ladies on this board.

Welcome! My job is to provide plucky comic relief. I would tell a joke, but all the ones I know are stupid and I don't want to let you down after introducing myself as a comic genius. It's all about the expectations.

I'm so sorry for your loss. The ladies here are absolutely amazing, and one of the only reasons why I haven't completely lost my mind. I hope you're able to find some comfort here!

Thanks so much, ladies! It's nice to be among some women who really understand.
Erin, I was charting and everything a while back, but I stopped. I think I'm going to keep on my break from it when we do start to TTC again - just for my sanity. I tend to get way too obsessed about that stuff so I'm trying to stay away from it. I do use a CBEFM, though, and I definitely plan to keep using that. I'd go crazy if I didn't know when I was Oing at all.

Watch how your body works compared to the CBEFM. I used it for three cycles. The first cycle is when it just goes pretty much on autopilot, H at CD 8 or 10, then H until 2 P, then H, then back to low. AFAIK it will always do H, P, P, H, L. But I paid attention to my fertility signs and realized I didn't need the CBEFM. It started giving me H the same day or day after I noticed EWCM, then I'd have EWCM and H until one evening on an OPK I would get a positive, then the morning after the + OPK I would get P on the CBEFM. I stopped using it because reading my body signs and OPKs are much cheaper than the CBEFM and sticks. I'm actually glad I stopped because I ended up dropping it (or throwing it in a fit of rage during an argument with DH... ) and it broke. Just a thought, maybe if it works for you, you could save a little money Or just stick with the CBEFM if you really love it, just tossing it out there!
