This is the update from 3/29/11

ok so i took my son to the dr jus to get him checked out they said everything looked fine as far as they could tell now and that if anything was to happen to just bring him back.

As far as the guy goes he made bond this morning needless to say i was very pissed off here i am with a two scared children a big a hole in my wall and having to move and such and he gets to just waltz out of there like nothing happened. ugh and he lives upstairs from me and he comes to apologize but i can tell it wasnt sincere because he didnt even care that night and when my daughter seen him she started crying and saying mommy that man scares me he ran his car into my room im scared mommy and she was holding on to my leg and then to make it even worse the dude drove his car still and the people upstairs from me also have to move and when they see that they went off on him and hes like i said i was sorry it wasnt my fault.

basically he isnt sorry about what he did and he still didnt even ask me if my son was okay or if my kids or okay or nothing like that he is trying to make what he did seem like it was justified when it wasnt.

We have to move out of my apartment because they said its unstable and that wall could come down at anytime so we have to move and all this other stuff and he keeps to sleep comfortable. and to make it all worse they didnt even charge him for hitting my son and stuff they didnt charge him for leaving the scene or nothing so im going back up there in the morning to talk to the captain about it.

they didnt even have in the police report about my son being in the room or anything like that so im going to bring it to their attention so that he does not get off easy when he goes to his hearing or whatever. im so mad but im trying not to be i know you are suppose to forgive but how can you forgive someone who could of took your childs life and had no remorse for what he did do.

we are goig to figure out what we can do to get him charge with the leaving the scene and everything because they only charge him for dui. well thanks ladies for all the prayers and concerns. im glad i have you ladies here for me.

That is awful! I cannot believe they just let him out. Hopefully, the chief adds charges, if no, go to DA.

Hun, I mainly want to say I'm so relieved to hear that your babies are safe. I'm so sorry you all had to go through such a scary ordeal. I know in time they will heal but I'm sure they are going to have some fears come forth for a while.

I get the impression you are a Christian and as hard as it is to see this man walk away, I'm sure deep down he is feeling what he has done. As Christians, we should forgive as God forgave us. The best part of that...it helps you to heal and move forward. You really are so blessed.

You and your family are in my prayers for healing and having to move.

Wow! How terrifying!! I'm glad you and your family are safe! I agree to keep pushing for harsher charges! If people only get a slap on the wrist then they haven't learned anything and will go out and do it again.

OMG! Thank god your baby is ok! I would be freaked out too! I still am scarred from a car accident that happened almost 2 years ago with my children in my car, so I know how you feel.

OMG Shanise.. That would scare the heck out of me too... I am so sorry that happened to you guys, but God is great, and I am so relieved to hear that everyone was safe with not a scratch on them.. I can't believe he didn't even care to ask if everyone was ok.. That is just flat out rude.. You stand up for yourself and your family, and you do what you have to, to get your voice heard.. I'm so sorry that happened to you guys! That would have freaked the pants off of me too!! God does have plans for us. He takes good care of His children.
Remember though, that we are all in the same boat in that we all make mistakes. Some little, some big, but the point is, we all mess up, and God always is willing to take us back! (It's a hard thing to do I know, and I'm working on that in my life these days) But God is gracious to us, so we must be gracious to others.
Don't worry Shanise! God's got your back and he always works thing out for the good of those that love Him. Blessings on you and your family as your sort this mess out!
