YEAH!! The dr just called and my hcg level was 8. They have dropped from 6000 to 8 in three weeks!

Now however she has asked that I use protection this month till i get my next cycle then come in again for another check where they should be at 0.
BOO I was planning on trying again as soon as we could. I really dont want to wait for my next cycle.

I know how long it can take to get pregnant and I really dont want to wait even longer when this could be our shot.

What did you ladies do? Wait till you got the OK or try again anyway?

I'm glad your numbers are dropping I did not wait.... I'm bad at not listening to them. However I did ask if there is a reason to medically wait and my doctor said no. If my body isn't ready to get pregnant it won't. She also knows that I have been trying. I believe the only reason they tell you to wait is for dating the next pregnancy.

Yeah I get that. Im horrible at being told what to do. Makes me always want to do the opposite haha!

I am charting so atleast I will be able to date it and know if the measurements she gives me are the same as what I am expecting. IF It works and I do get pregnant!

My doctor told me to wait 3 months. I waited until I got my first post m/c AF and now I'm TTC a month later. I agree that it would be worth asking your doctor if there is a medical reason why you should wait. If not, then I say go for it!

I have never waited either- in fact Spud was the cycle after a m/c. I'm not good at listening to them, and like my peri told me once he's not going to take away points for getting pregnant sooner.

Glad your numbers are dropping good. I usually do what my dr says but my losses were different. And I was told to wait three months. I had later losses than most.

I think it is completely up to you. We only waited because I am on Lupron.

I'm no help, but if I were in the situation, I probably wouldn't wait... When Drew was born we actually started trying again before I even got my first AF, and my midwife didn't have any problems with it. And he was full-term, so...
