DH and I had a lazy weekend because the weather has been crappy here. Hope everyone else's weekend is going well!

I have been sick all weekend so I have been a couch potato. My parents are coming for dinner tonight so I am trying to get some things done.

I had to work all weekend  (I'm a receptionist for Urgent Care in a medical group. I work 2 nights week and every other weekend)

We planted all new flowers and remulched our flowerbeds yesterday. How pathetic is it that I'm sore today?
And tonight we're going to my parents' house to celebrate my mom's birthday.

Dh was on-call this weekend and had to stay in the city, so the kids and I followed him and stayed in the hotel. Yesterday we went to a farm for the kids and today we spent the morning shopping and the afternoon at the hotel relaxing and letting the kids swim. He didn't get called in, so it ended up being a great little get-a-way.

DH and I went to do errands on saturday and got mulch to do spring work in the yard. But the weather was not so good to be outside fixing with it. We did the yard work today and took about 3 hrs or so to weed and rake out old mulch and re-mulch. It looks like a brand new garden. I did not take a pic but if I think of it tomorrow I will post.

Dh spent most of Saturday working on a sink hole we have in our drive way. I spent most of Saturday getting the kitchen done the way I wanted it.
Sunday we spend some much needed time cuddling and just enjoying being by ourselves.

I played board games, a video game, built Boba Fett's ship out of Legos with my son, watched Mr. Bean's Holiday, finished Inception, and did laundry.
Fun eh?
I wish the weather was good enough to work in the yard, but it's still too early for where I live.

Went to St. Louis on Saturday to see my sister, she is moving in two weeks. Went to the farmers market there, which I desperately miss.
Sunday- ran errands, and played with DS. Did buy a new tree, which we need to plant in the next day or so.

I had such a great weekend! Me, Dh and DD went to Gatlinburg to celebrate Dh's 40th birthday. We had such a great time, and it was so relaxing. It was our first family vacation since Stella was about 10 weeks old!

On Saturday a couple of my girl friends & I went out to dinner and to the movies to see Insidious. It was SCARY! The rest of the weekend was spent cooking & cleaning.

I keep reading the title of this as Weekend Pepsi, which is odd. I don't drink soda and never liked Pepsi, so I don't know what it is.
