Thank you ladies. Dh and I spent a nice weekend together and enjoyed the fact that we were alone. After everything that has been going on I really didn't want to talk that much about my mil. I kind of wanted a weekend of some much needed time to just relax and cuddling time.

I talked to his other sister on Friday night before she left for vacation and kind of filled her in on what was going. She said the same thing the other sister said. She said that their mom is happy and that she is more relaxed where she is at. She also said that their mom is happy when she is talking to every one but Dh. She also said that the doctor said my mil can't be by herself or even cook. With Dh and I both working my mil will have to be by herself sometimes up to 12 hours a day.

I told her that Dh wants to have a family meeting with both of them since they are up here. I think they should include the other sister that doesn't live here some how so she can have a say so. She said that she will tell Dh that their mom needs to be in some kind of home and that she is happy where she is at. Hopefully with all the sisters saying the same thing it will help dh to realize that my mil is happy where she is at and that she does need to be some place that can watch over her.

It's funny that you asked about an update. I got a phone call from the one sister that I am close to yesterday. They had their mom on two waiting list for assisted living homes. The one where she is at and one that their mom really liked. Well they got a phone call yesterday from the one she really liked. They have a private room with own bath that just opened up. This new home is 1,000 dollars cheaper also. Both sisters asked their mom if she would like to move to the new home since she liked it so much. My mil told both sisters that she is happy where she is at. She told them why should I move since I like it here so much. My SIL said that she is so upset with thier mom for what she is putting Dh through. I asked her to leave a message on Dh's phone telling him about the room opening up at the other house and what their mom said. I said something to Dh last night about a room opening up in the other house and he said he got the message from his sister about it. He is torn and confused on what to do though. Since my mil is telling him that she is uphappy he thinks that his sister just want to keep their mom in a home. Right now I guess I am just waiting for the family meeting to see what happens.

This part is in regards to me lossing pumpking. I have a question. I had my d&c on March 21. That was 2 weeks ago. Shouldn't my hcg level be coming down some by now. I took a HPT and its as dark as it was before the d&c. I was happy that my doctor didn't want to do betta's to see if my level was coming down. Now I am not to sure. I am worried about having some tissue left over. I do have a call into my OB but he hasn't called me back yet. I am going to try to call again when I get out of work.

I am in the process of trying to fine a counselor for me to talk to. I think with lossing my mom and have 3 losses maybe it would help if I had someone else to talk to.

Sorry this was such an long update. If you made it to the end thank you for listening and being there. Here is a cup of coffee for you.

It's 5:30am, I could sure use that cup! I'm still half asleep, I don't have much to say, except that things look like they're getting better and you might be able to stay MIL-free. Yay!

Sounds like things are looking up with MIL, hopefully DH will see whats she's doing soon.

As far as the beta's- I would definitely call and have them checked. They should be going down.

Thanks for the coffee, YUM! It sounds like things are headed into a much better direction than they were a week ago. And please call your doctor back this afternoon. I am not overly concerned at this point but it is good to update them. As your levels were probably so high to begin with having a positive Hpt at this point would not be out of the realm of normalcy. Big hugs! Thinking about you!

I agree things sound like they are going much better. I hope the family meeting makes things easier on DH and you. I would definitely check with your doctor on your hormone levels. It will take them awhile to go back done but hopefully they will check them to make sure that they are going down. Hugs!

I'm glad things are looking up. I hope the family meeting goes well and they are able to convince your DH that his mom is happy where she is. If I were you I would call your doctor and let him know about still getting dark positives and see what he wants to do.

I'm glad that things are going as well as they are. It definitely sounds like your MIL is playing some games with your DH- I hope he sees through them!

HCG levels can go down slowly after a D&C without anything being wrong. But I agree it's a good idea to get them checked just to make sure they are going down. I know it's a pain

Thank you ladies. I really don't know what I would do without all of you on this board sometimes. It's nice to be able to talk and vent about other things besides ttc.

I have a call into my ob to see if he will check my levels. My ob's nurse is off until today. Without her it is very hard to reach my ob. With the other two losses my numbers went down pretty fast. I was hoping this time they would go down pretty fast also. I have a follow up appointment with my ob next week and I hoping he could order all the test for recurrent losses. I know he can't order them if I still have HCG in my system.

I believe you were farther along with this loss than your other 2?! The higher your numbers the longer it takes them to drop, but I would thing that your HPT should at least be somewhat lighter now. I would definitely ask for a HCG draw just to see where your numbers are.

Katie, you have good memory. I was farther along with this loss then the other ones. I am going to call my ob's nurse again today and hopefully they will order a blood test.
