How long should I wait to TTC after our loss? I've read much conflicting info..... I was just taken by surprise with this loss, and I'm still in so much pain....but I can think of nothing but making babies.....

You will hear usually anywhere from 1 cycle to 3 cycles. My doctor told me to wait one cycle for dating purposes of the next pregnancy. I asked if there was a medical reason to wait and she said no, if your body isn't ready it won't get pregnant. I think it also varies as all women grieve differently and sometimes they tell you to wait longer so you can heal emotionally as well as physically. Only you can decide what is best for you. Hope that helps and I hope you get your sticky bean quickly

I agree. Unless the doctor gives you a specific reason to wait, deciding when to TTC again is a personal decision. You will know in your heart when you are ready to try again. Best of luck to you!

I think it is completely up to you and when you feel emotionally ready.

Some of it depends on how far along you were when you m/c. The further along you were the longer the dr usually recommends to wait. Sometimes its to give your body a chance to heal and sometimes its just the dr thinking you need more time emotionally. I would always differ to your dr.

I am so sorry for your loss.
