I haven't used the Answer tests but they were on sale this time lol.
I started AF on 3/28 and bleeding completely stopped on Day 6. I started the OPK's on Day 6 (meant to start earlier since it comes with a ton but had family in town and forgot).
All the tests were taking right around 7pm at night so I haven't taken one today yet.
Day 6 is at the very top and it appears fairly dark along with day 7 but that seems too early so not sure what was going on.
Day 10 is really sticking out to me as a positive especially since it goes pale on day 11.
Has anyone used these before and think I'm right about day 10 being a +?

Honestly none of them look positive to me. The test line has to be darker than the control line for it to be positive. I've had tests look like that before and they weren't positive. I would keep testing a couple of days and see what happens.

I would agree with Katie...I'd keep testing. Day 10 seems kinda early to be ovulating too?

Btw where in TN are you? I am an hour north of Knoxville

I used them last month and got 4 days of strong positives. I won't use them again, people seem to never get a true positive or gets days of positives. Here's a pic to compare to yours! days 18-21 are the positives (except for day 20 pm and 21 10pm) and much darker than the control.

Okay, here is where I'm concerned and PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong. Based on your tests and what Katie said, then the doc may be right and I may possibly not be ovulating.
I had EWCM the past couple days and this morning it's back to thicker and cloudy. I had some possible O pains too.
Main thing that worries me (and I'm still learning!) is that your LP is the time period between when you O and when you start AF right?

Last month I had AF on 3/2. Per the other OPK's I used (which was pretty dark but not blaring now that I see more pics) and EWCM and pains I figured I O'd on 3/13, maybe 3/14. I started last AF on 3/28 which gave me a 25 day cycle. So if I O'd on 3/13 and count forward my LP was 15-16 days.

This month with cycle starting 3/28, and if I O'd on 4/6 and have a 25 day cycle again then AF would start on 4/22 and I would have another LP around 16 days.

I'm going to keep testing but based on the fact I don't get super dark OPK's does that *possibly* mean that I may have some issues?

It's still really early so I wouldn't count yourself out yet. I have gotten almost positives before and then kept testing and did get a positive. But if you do not get a positive this month I would say then no you did not ovulate. Also the doctor can check your hormone levels and see if you ovulated yet.

Answer brand OPK's do not work correctly. Every kind I have used has been defective.

use wondfo or clearblue line or clearblue smiley face.

Seriously, I did tests over several months and not one time did the answer brand work right.

You may have had a surge and it did not pick it up, Answer is famous for that. I would use a different brand next month for sure. But don't count it as a anovulatory cycle based on just the OPk's, they are not reliable. Good luck!

This is super helpful for me as well. I'm also having issues determining if I am ovulating. Earlier this week I had EWCM and my test lines got darker (Wondfo tests), but never as dark as the control line. I've never had one read as dark as the control line. I think I might need to consult my doctor about whether I am ovulating or not. Any thoughts?

I had a lot of success with the wondfo brand OPK's. Have you ever had issues with ovulation in the past? Have you ever had a cd21 progesterone draw to determine if you are ovulating? Are you older?

That makes me feel better!!
I go on the 18th for a progesterone draw so I guess I'll have some good results by then.

I've never had issues that I knew about. I got pregnant first month trying on all three of my previous pregnancies, so I never really tracked my ovulation. This time we've been trying for five months with no luck, but I don't really have a baseline to know what is normal for me. I will say that before my m/c my cycles were a consistent 35 days and now they are all over the place. I'm also only 28, so age shouldn't be too much a factor for me. I would love any advice you have for me.
