Time to talk about what you like and what makes you happy. People (in general, not just here in TTCAL) tend to focus so much on what they do not have that forget to celebrate what they do have.
Get your party hats on!

Katie: Awesome x 3
I am happy that I am at peace with everything, that everyone is employed, it's almost spring (big yay) and I am starting to cook again (I've been slacking).

Awesome And I've been slacking on the cooking somewhat too... I think it's getting over the winter part that had me down. I'm making baked ham with a pineapple glaze, green beans, mashed potatoes and home made bread for dinner tonight... so DH will be happy!

Nice! I made pasta with sausage, green peppers and onions last night and will have it for leftovers for a couple of days this week.
I also like slicing up cucumbers and onions and marinating them in apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper. I also add in some feta and it's very good. Very vinegar-y, but I like sour.
We join a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) every year and you basically pay up front a certain amount of money and then you have organic vegetables & fruit to pick up every week from May to late October. That's why I was on the farm yesterday, putting in my hours (have to do 7 hours during the season).
Thinking of all of those vegetables coming up makes me inspired to cook and eat healthier.

YUM!!! Can I come over?
I'm happy that I'm hosting my book club this week, which means that I get to make dessert and not eat it all myself. And I'm so thankful that I have so much extended family close by - without them we wouldn't even be able to try for another baby. Also, I've been so busy I haven't had time to make bows, and just in the last week, I've started up again. Yay for ribbon flowers!

I bought turkey sausage with feta and spinach from Whole Foods and cooked it (sliced) in garlic olive oil with the green peppers (2) and onion (1) until it was all cooked and warm and then dumped in garlic pasta sauce and cooked it until it was heated up. Then just dump it onto the cooked pasta. I probably should have added more garlic (love it!) or if my husband wasn't eating with us, I would have added gorgonzola.

You guys are making me hungry! I only cook about 3 nights a week because I work the rest of the nights, but you are inspiring me to try something new!
I am happy my Dad is in remission from Colon Cancer, that DH is finally working full-time after having his hours cut for winter, and that spring is here!
