Alright so since DH and I slipped up last night and didnt use protection when I did not prepare... When I woke up this morning I ran over to Wal Mart to buy a OPK.

Just a small mini rant... is Wal Mart ALWAYS busy everywhere else in the United States or is it just Utah? Every single time I go over there it is a mad house! Maybe its just Utah cause I live in Mormonville USA where the women literally have like 8-15 kids. Its like a preschool walked out of their vagina! Hm. Well anyway...

This is the result:

I never used a OPK... well because DH and I just DTD every other day after AF till a BFP. It has worked all 3 times. Haha. So truly I dont know if this means Im close it says to look at the color not thickness? I know you guys are experts so Ill just ask you

I took my prenatals, extra folic acid, and my apsrin this morning. I may call my doctor and beg him for the progesterone now. I need to switch OBs. Mine is such a creep and always talks with his eyes shut and it freaks me out! And well... wont prescribe progesterone untill BFP which is dumb

Hahaha. Okay I am done rambling now.

Depends on what the instructions say whether it has to be darker than the control line or just have a second line. It also matters which is the control, I am guessing the darker one, so in that case, this test is not positive.

It says line must just be of the same color as the control line... and yes the right line is the control line... So maybe...? But Its pink! So same color? Hahaha

It doesn't look positive yet. They need to be at least the same darkness.

That dark one is your control line and the lighter one is the test line. So it's not quite positive. I would keep testing for until the control is darker than the test line

Alright, thanks I will test everyday and wait for the "darkness".

I guess DH and I will start TTC this cycle. So pretty much means I am going to be crazy all month!

Good luck What you will want to watch for is the test line to be darker than the control line. You can always post us pictures because we love to help!

Wal-Mart is crazy everywhere, not just in Utah where there seems to be a lot of "us Mormons." Lol. I like to go to the ones way off the freeway. Way less crowded. Heck, I even pay more at Walgreens not to deal with Wal-Mart. I have anxiety disirder so being in large crowds makes me panic.

(sorry for the hijack)

I just realized who you are. You changed your picture! I kept thinking you looked familiar, but I am terrible (really terrible) with names. Welcome back, a bit late, haha.

I agree. It does not look quite positive yet. Good luck this cycle!!

And yes I think Walmart is always crazy. We went to Florida for our honeymoon and while we were out DH's gps died so we have to find a Walmart to buy a new one. It was like one in the morning and they were packed!!

Either it doesn't look positive yet, or it looks like it was already positive and you're just past that. If you test again tonight and it's lighter, you may have missed getting your positive, but the BDing would have been timed well anyway . Just throwing that out there to confuse you!

I avoid Wal-Mart like the plague because I feel like I lose a piece of my soul every time I step into one of them. So depressing.

Not positive. It has to be darker than the control line. Oh, and by the way, I'm Mormon and only have 2 kids. In fact, I don't know very many people with "8-15" kids. I think Walmart is crazy everywhere.

Just wanted to add that if you're anything like me, the line should get darker over the next couple of days. I know mine always look like that before I ovulate.

I do think perhaps it's in good taste to edit out the Mormon comment in the first post.

Lol, agreed. There are a few Mormons on here (me included) , so you have to be careful. I only have 2 kids too, although we have been trying for just one more. No hard feelings though. I have gotten it a lot before.

I was just kidding about the Mormon thing... I live in Utah everyone is Mormon including my two closest friends and DH family and my moms side. So it was a joke and I refuse to edit it out if people can't take a joke... Hahaha even Mormons joke about themselves I live close to BYU and they even joke about themselves haha so I think people just need to relax

I read it as "moron" instead of "mormon" . . . I guess I'm the moron now.
