DH started feeding ducks that pass by our house. I dubbed them Mr. and Mrs. Quackers. They now camp out behind our house and come straight up to the screen door. It is adorable!!

I love ducks. We have a Mr. and Mrs. that come to my work every year to have their babies. Its funny how everyone looks forward to them coming back every year.

Aww! That reminds me of when DH and I lived in an apartment with tons of little ponds and the Geese were crazy around there. We would tell stories about them, not kid friendly stories but they were funny. For example: We had a few geese that would come right to our outside door and honk! It would drive my dog crazy. So we decided that our dog was a druggie and the geese were her dealers. The swans were the police since they would often run the geese out of ponds. And the ducks were innocent bystanders since the swans always left them alone. We would always tell our dog to pay the geese so they'd leave us alone ha ha...so totally inappropriate, but it was funny. It was always so cute when the babies were all around! I miss my little pond!
