Since all of you have been through a miscarriage, I thought I could get a good response here. I have been heavly spotting since last Tuesday, but did not loose the baby until Sunday. My question is, I have passed the baby and 2 other large clots of tissue, but I am hardly having any bleeding. I am not even soaking a pad a day. Is this normal?? I was 6w1d but the baby was not developed that far along. My HCG level only ever got to 204. When I had it checked Monday morning, it had fallen to 121.

Is it normal that I am not bleeding heavily? I was also on progesterone supplements, so I would think that my lining would have been very thick.

I have no idea. I bled for 4 weeks! It took forever. With that said though, my friend had a miscarriage at 5.5 weeks and she bled for about 1 1/2 weeks. I don't know exactly what "normal" is, but it seems like your situation is common. ((HUGS))) and sorry about your loss.

That's exactly how I was! No worries lovely well with my third miscarriage. I bleed heavy for only a short couple hours and passed clots. Than I just lightly bleed for 8 days. I think you shouldn't worry... Just try to move on but never forget.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's for sure one of the hardest things any of us can go through.

I only had the really heavy bleeding for 3 hours, then it was spotting for two weeks.

It really depends on your body. With some I bled for 2ish weeks and with others only a few days. If your worried I would call your doctor and see if they can get your in to do an ultrasound to see if you have retained tissue. Hugs!

Everyone is different. I bled heavy for a few days then bled lightly for several.

Sorry for your loss..... I had a m/c around 9-10 weeks... Up to the point that I was about to pass I was bleeding heavily... after the pass I was spotting and not as much for the rest of the night... It really is weird... my flow started to pick up as the day went on that I had to wear a pad for a couple of days... then thin liners for the rest of the week. Hope that this helps...

I spotted a week before I passed the baby and then had bleeding for the hours I was passing things. My bleeding almost never got on my pads its like it was waiting for me to sit on the toilet and then it would all come.
I then spotted for about 2 weeks after.

Anna - Im so sorry for your loss.

With my m/c last month I bled for a week and half and never heavy except the days i passed the sac.
