I am a true POAS addict so the fact that I find myself on the asking side of a HPT question is really a new situation for me.
Can someone please let me know if this has happened to them and what they outcome was. Was it a very early BFP or just what the tests do these days. (I haven't used Answer brand in a long time so this is a possibility.)
The test line shows up within 1 minute. It sticks around for about 5-7 minutes albeit faint and in true squinter form. Then after the test dries there isn't much left to see. It appears as if it is a BFN.
This first pic was taken at about 3-5 minutes. I know it is a real squinter but do you see it?
This was at about 15 minutes. I can't see anything anymore...
Anyone have any experiences like this?
I used the third Answer test and a similar thing happened but the test line didn't stick around as long. I decided to buy FRER ans see those results and I got a very clear BFN. I am going to be writing a letter to Church and Dwight. This was a rough ride for the last 48 hours. Nothing like getting a girls hopes up for no reason. PMS is starting to creep in too. Greaaaat! AF will be showing up just in time for my workout with the trainer that I lovingly call the "Steriod Raging No Necker". This is going to be a great weekend. LOL
Thanks for all of the input and support. I really appreciate it.

I had a whole bunch of evaps from Answer last month. I'd go out anad get another brand to double check. I am hoping that it is a BFP though!

I'm sorry I don't see anything in either. BUT, I will never use answer anything again, I have had bad luck with them OPK and HPT. My answer HPT's didn't even pick up my BFP at 14DPO so I went and got a FRER cuz I just knew I was, and sure enough a clear BFP.

I *think* I see something on the first one but I agree I would get another test just to be sure. Hoping it's the start of a BFP!

I definitely see it in the first pic, and your right....it faded away in the second pic. If the first pic was a whole 3-5 minutes after taken.....I would definitely try again later today.....that first pic, looked like my 10dpo am bfp and later at 4pm it was pink and did not fade away. This was with FRER, but I think Answer and FRER are pretty much the same IMO.
Good luck!!!!!!!!

I see it in the first pic, and although mine was FRER it did the same thing to me the day before getting my true BFP. But I read that a dissapearing line is a BFN....so I would wait til tomorrow adn try again, good luck!

I've heard of this happening... Try to get a different brand (or two) and use them later today or tomorrow morning. I really hope it's not the case for you, but this brand has been causing some disappointment lately

I will be headed out tomorrow morning for an appointment. Hopefully I will be able to buy a box of FRER on my way home. I have a few different IC tests here but I am not getting anything definitive on those either (not surprised). Oh how I hope this isn't a cruel joke. I am trying so hard to stay level headed but I can't help but get that nervous excitement thing. I know they could very well be evaps or false positives... but MAN I hope not! Thanks so much for everyone's feedback!

Like I said I will NEVER buy Answer again. It has to be a bad batch. I got my hopes up so high too for a BFP, only to be knocked down by an EVAP. I think we should write them.

If this doesn't evolve into a BFP I am going to contact them. It says in the instructions to read the test at 3 minutes. That line was THERE at 3 minutes. It also says that positive results will stay for 48 hours. So... THAT certainly is misleading in our case, huh?!

I'm sorry! Like I said, I had the same thing happen to me. Sad part is, I was finally coming to terms with the loss and TTC again. It hurts! I am sooooo sorry.

Sorry you got a BFN . . . and bad tests before that! Kicking some butt with your trainer sounds like the perfect way to get out the anger!
