Okay so this cycle I did 12 tablets of femara day 2, ovulated CD 13/14ish and had blood work that day to make sure my LH number was good (which is was ) and then I had another blood test this past Monday to check my progesterone (I'm on suppositories) and my estrodial. Doctor just called and said my progesterone looks wonderful (*yay*) but my estrodial is at 85 and they like it to be around 120. So next month I am to take a pill for that after I O as well. So since I've NEVER heard of this I'm wondering if anyone else has and could give me some info please and thank you!

I never had but want to say good luck.
Does that number mean you are not pregnant? or can you still be this cycle? I see your ticker says 9DPO

I haven't heard of them even checking estradiol after O. Did you also post this on TTCMA? That's awesome about the progesterone! Do you know your number?

Honestly I didn't ask... I only got to talk to my nurse but I did call back and leave a message. My doctor is off this week. I have an appt on the 29th of this month so I wrote that down to talk about.

Oh my lanta! That is wonderful I'm so jealous of your doctor sounds like they know what there doing and willing to help! Mine just wants to "try" things before they test me for anything. Ridiculous!
Good luck I wish I knew more but I am a newbie at this stuff!

AAhhhhh I hope so Nicole but the nurse said "So you should be getting your period in a few days" So I'm not sure if the estrodial number being low means I'm out already

I did a quick search and couldn't find anything, so I wouldn't think it means you are out. My RE never even tests for that. Can you supplement now, or is it too late for this cycle?

Glad some numbers are good but sorry some are not. My guess its an estrogen thing but I could be wrong. Really don't know for sure. Sorry you might be out this month.

I can't find ANYTHING on this, Katie! How frustrating. What days are you supposed to take the estrogen next cycle?

I have heard of this, ME, ME, ME,
My RE also checked for Estradol (msp) after O. When I conceived Mia, my level was very low.........signaling a bad egg in his opinion. He wanted it to be about 250. Im not sure what dpo you were being tested for estrogen, but like I said, my RE wanted it to be 250 or higher at 7dpo, pregnant or not. This to him ment a healthy, ripe egg was released.
Like I said, Mia's was low after O, and did not go to over 250 until I was 5wks. There was no supplements for me to take, he just said it was gonna work or not. Well it did work, Mia was a good egg, lol..........so I try not to put too much stock into all these numbers. By the way, after I confirmed pregnancy with Mia my first level was 120, went up to 175, dropped again to 150, then just went up, up, up after that!
