Well yesterday I tested OPK and it was pretty dark but not positive yet... So I took another one this morning and it was lighter and than another one tonight and it was even LIGHTER! Well hopefully that means I O the day before yesterday and such a coincidence that DH and I BD that night not even trying. We were going to wait till next cycle but gave in

Does that sound like I O the day before? I have never charted or used OPK yet so I'm learning, so enlighten me ladies

And how many days after O can you test? I usually just waited for a late AF but need to test early so I can get progesterone. Thank you

You ovulated 24-48 hours after a positive OPK. I would say your miss your surge last night. You'll probably O today or tomorrow so I would BD tonight and the next couple days to cover yourself if you want to try this cycle.

I wish I could be more help on the OPK front but mine are all over the place, so I don't have a normal to compare to. But depending on the type of HPT you use, you can start testing as early as 6 to 10dpo. I don't personally know anyone who has gotten a BFP at 6 days, but I got mine at 9dpo using a Wondfo test. I got my last BFP at 9dpo (saw a shadow at 8dpo but thought it was just an evap).
BUT if you can get blood tests sometimes they can tell as easrly as 6dpo.
