What traditions did your family have? We didn't really have any traditions besides the the normal holiday ones, we were always very laid back and casual
What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?I'm so picky I don't eat anything out of the ordinary, but once my friend in Maine made tacos and after I ate them a I found out they were venison. I was so grossed out, especially since 2 days prior I saw the deer gutted hanging from a tree!
What is your favorite thing about summer?getting tan, bringing DD to parks/lakes, camping, and cookouts!
What are you afraid of?Spiders/bugs, clowns, freaky movies(like The hills have eyes)
What habit would you like to be able to break? My DH says I have OCD about thing being perfectly in their place, sometimes its exhausting going around fixing everything all day. I'd like to be able to sit and relax without looking around and getting up every 5 minutes to fix something.
Who is a woman from history that you respect and why? hmmm, I'm not sure about a women from History. But the women I respect more than anything is my Mom, she is my best friend and has helped me through some very very hard things in my past.

What traditions did your family have? A very rich traditional Christmas. I always looked forward to it. Santa Claus would even visit us all on Christmas Eve until we stopped believing in him. But I wished he did even then .

What traditions did your family have?Everything is a tradition in my family . . . we get together for every holiday plus some we've made up (like soup day in January) and Italian day (once a year whenever we want it to be).
What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?I can't think of a strange food at the moment . . . but I'm pretty brave and what other people consider strange (like squid for example) I love!!!
What is your favorite thing about summer? I get to spend more time with my family and be outdoors . . . hiking, biking, playing in the park, going fishing or just riding in the boat, summer vacations, beaches . . . pretty much everything!
What are you afraid of?Old age, flabby skin, female baldness, alhzeimers . . . I'm young still, but I worry about all that happening to me when I see the old women in church.
What habit would you like to be able to break? biting my nails . . . I will try and then they break and I get mad so I go back to biting them.
Who is a woman from history that you respect and why? Rosa Parks - because she stood up for herself.

Is being non-traditional a tradition? We usually go camping on Memorial Day weekend.
What is the strangest food you have ever eaten?
Octopus
What is your favorite thing about summer?
Blue skies and white puffy clouds
What are you afraid of?
Getting alzheimers.
What habit would you like to be able to break?
Eating too much and being lazy
Who is a woman from history that you respect and why?
That's a tough one. I am going to have to pick the women suffragettes. Some of them were beaten and tortured simply because they wanted to fight for our right to vote.

What traditions did your family have? We like to do non-traditional foods for traditional holidays. For example, we did a "Tuscan Thanksgiving" one year- each family member researched a different tradiitnoal food and then made it for Turkey day...we had lots of fish, rabbit, things like that. We're doing a "Tapas Easter" next week. Lots of fun little foods...we each try to outdo the others as well for uniqueness.
What is the strangest food you have ever eaten? Lambs brain - it was a ethnic show and tell when I was in 4th grade. Not sure if that's even permissable nowadays.
What is your favorite thing about summer? The heat. Sun. 90-100 degree days. Long days. Warm evenings just made for running.
What are you afraid of? Not getting pregnant ever. Bathtubs. Ughhhh. they give me the heebie jeebies.
What habit would you like to be able to break? Procrastination. Being "creatively organized".
Who is a woman from history that you respect and why? Not really from history, but Ann Trason - she's an amazing ultramarathon runner. Mother Theresa as well.

What traditions did your family have? None really. Eating dinner in front of the TV maybe -- does that count?
What is the strangest food you have ever eaten? Cow uterus. Big in Japan at roadside vendors.
What is your favorite thing about summer? Well I'm in San Diego, so summer's usually aggravating 'cause it's too hot. It's the rest of the year that's the nicest
What are you afraid of? Having trouble getting pregnant, having another traumatic experience like what Drew went through...
What habit would you like to be able to break? Smoking I started back up a couple months ago as a means of helping deal with anxiety. I've "quit" for a couple days at a time here and there, and I "only" smoke probably about 7 a day, but it's still nasty and unhealthy. But I know for sure I'd quit cold turkey the moment I got a second line!!
Who is a woman from history that you respect and why? Can I semi cop-out and say my grandma? She was one of 13 kids and the only one to survive to adulthood. She got married at 17 and stayed married until my grandpa died a few years ago. She raised her three children, and once her husband had to go on disability because of a construction work accident, she took a job so supplement his disability while he stayed home. She also raised me, and thank God for that, because my mom is a real piece of ****. She's also had three different kinds of cancer, one of them three times (skin), and has beaten all of them. Well right now she has breast cancer and is working to beat it, but things are looking great so far. I love my grandmother.
