With spring sort of here in parts of the country and in full force for others it is almost time for the bugs and beetles to come out.

Where is the strangest place you have ever been bit by a bug? Have you ever been bitten by a snake?

I've never been bitten anywhere strange, although the thought of it is what keeps me from never going to the bathroom in nature.

I've never been bitten by a snake, or seen any snake that's capable of delivering a bite that would be dangerous. I have been bitten by a dog.

But what if you are like out hiking or in the woods and have to go?

I hold it.

If I was stranded in the woods, then that would be another story, I wouldn't have a choice. When I know there is a bathroom in my near future, I can hold it for a while.

Maybe you could wrap toilet paper in your girly area and pee through it. That way you would still be protected from bugs but not risk an infection.

Yeah, there is something wrong with me.

A friend of mine got poison ivy by using it as toilet paper.

I've had chigger bites lets just say....they somehow got into my underwear. Wearing shorts in AR can be detrimental.

I've never been bit anywhere strange but I did get a deer fly bite on my hand that turned into cellulitis....not fun! And thankfully, I've never been bitten by a snake.

I like your idea of a t.p. pee filter Missy!

Last summer when I was laying on a blanket in my yard with DD a mosquito bit me in the crotch area. That was not pleasant. On a related note I HATE bugs. One of the bugs that I am most afraid of are ticks. They have gotten really bad in NJ in the last few years. The first week in May I'm taking my students on a nature type field trip to an area where they always come back with ticks on them (not my idea). I can't tell you how fearful I've been on that trip the last few years after seeing the House episode where the girl is dying because a tick crawled into her vajoobie. Irrational? Probably. But it's never far from my mind.

I got stung on my lip by a wasp once. That sucked, I looked SO dumb! Never been bitten by a snake, but we had a big yard out in the country when I was a kid in Louisiana so I used to see rattlers pretty often. My grandparents trained me to always come inside and tell them if I saw one, and then my grandpa would go hack its head off with a hoe. Ah, the joys of the South

Hoe. I had to come back and edit that to "hoe." I got the strangest mental picture of my grandpa beating a snake with a hooker...

Had to come back and edit one more time because I was so surprised JM's dummy-dumb filter actually let me say hooker!

I have never been bitten by a snake and I do not think that I have been bitten by a bug in a strange place. Last summer I was bitten by a mosquito on the bottom of my feet and it hurt to walk.
