Ok- here is my scoop. I have two children and I am in the 7th week of my 7th pregnancy. Tuesday was my first.prenatal check up. When I got up that morning I was spotting a.brownish pink mucousy discharge (tmi) accompanied by cramping. I assumed I was miscarriage naturally, which is unusual for me ( only my first pregnancy ever ended in a natural mis, all others were d.c.@ 11 weeks) i kept my appt he did an internAl and saw no blood. He then did an u/s and there was a baby with a heart rate of about 140. He told me to come in next week. The spotting stopped, but started again with the cramping . I feel like I am just waiting around for the inevitable. I also have a hx of hemorrhage. .he said i may not be miscarrying but i dont.have a good feeling about this. Has anyone. else had this experience?

I cramped and spotted with my DD's pregnancy up until around 20 weeks. They said some women just bleed. I hope this is the case with you.

I had some spotting when I first got pregnant this time (5th pregnancy 2 angels). I also had spotting and cramping after my internal exam at my first appointment. I am now 17 weeks and all is well. Heard the heartbeat yesterday . It really could be nothing. Baby has a heartbeat that is a great sign.

There are lots of ladies who go through their pregnancy with spotting but it has to be really scary. The ladies of Pregnancy After Loss might be able to give you some helpful info too

I know the heartbeAT is a good sign but we have always seen a bbq'd at this stage with my 6 prior pregnancies. I go back in one week for another us. Thanks for your support and I will keep everyone posted. If it was just cramps or just spotting, I would be less concerned
