This was my dress in Ivory with a champagne trim: Satin Pick-up with Cuff Neckline and Lace-up Back - David's Bridal
This is me in it (as well as me in it in the signature) :
I only tried on one dress and absolutely fell in love with that one. I refused to try on any other dress (I did look around though). When it is it, you just know.
As for dresses, I love the ball gown style. I will say though, it is hard to pick one because I have already done that. Lol. I do like this one though.

I'm going to have to go with my wedding dress as my dream dress. I'm thought I knew exactly what I wanted before I started trying on dresses, but the one I ended up with was one my mom picked out. I ended up loving it and now there are so many beautiful memories tied up in that dress.
I got it preserved and it's in a box in my closet. Not that Lily will ever want to wear my dress, but I will never be able to get rid of it.

I loved my dress... It was exactly what I wanted and a great price too! I have it hanging in my room on my mirror. I love looking at it.
How much is the dress you want? Have you started saving for it or no? How much time until your big party? I am so glad you decided to do the big wedding. I got married to my ex at his moms house and we just went to dinner after. No honeymoon, nothing. This time around it was everything I dreamed of. I totally had my princess (week) day!
And you don't have to spend a ton of money on the "reception"... once you guys set a budget the money should go to YOU first (ie: dress, hair, makeup, tierra ect...) then the reception. It is YOUR day to be a princess. I am a very unselfish person and never put myself first so it was super fun!

The dress I want is $3,299. I did put money back for it but I've since used it for the meds for TTC. We have only been married 2 1/2 years so we still have 2 1/2 to save for it DH doesn't like big weddings (he is a shy kind of person and doesn't like being around a lot of people) But he did agree to do it for me

This is the dress I wanted/want. We had a very small wedding at the park...like really small lol. Maybe 10 ppl? We wanted to go ahead and do it since we knew we wouldn't have the money for a bigger wedding at any point in the near future. We still want to have something a little bigger one day.
This dress is very affordable though...so I know I'd be able to get it if and when we ever have a "real" wedding. I sorta want to buy it now just in case they discontinue it:

I have to say I got married in my dream dress. I tried on 7 dresses the day my mom and my sister-n-law went shopping. The first one was my dream dress but it was more then what I wanted to pay. My mom brought my dress for me. One of my favorite memories was wedding dress shopping with my mom. My mom passed away 1 month before I got married. One thing that helped me get through my wedding was knowing my mom saw my dress and she saw most of the things for my wedding. I have to say my wedding was everything I wanted. I married my best friend. A good friend of mine did my flowers for me. My mom was suppsed to walk me down the aisle. When she passed away I didn't want to change that. I walked halfway by myself then Dh met me the other half. In my boutigue my friend put a picture of mom so it was like my mom still walked me down the aisle.
