In making babies is to relax and enjoy the process for me. I am sure my DH can sense that but he tries his best to make it good. Anyone else that is in the same situation? What do you do to really enjoy the BD moment and not just do it because it is the right timing etc?

That is tricky. Good thing is, it doesn't matter how good it is to get pregnant!

Maybe light some candles and have a glass of wine before.

I wear lingerie. It spices things up.

I try to BD the whole cycle either every day or every other so he doesn't know when it's O time. Also being spontaneous ... when he is downstairs in his "man cave" I will put on something sexy and go down and we will do it on the couch or floor... it keeps things interesting instead of ... let's go it's time to make a baby. (I learned the hard way he can't handle the pressure )

The pressure is not the problem for him - he is ready its me that feel the pressure. Spicing it up might help. Thanks for your feedback.

I have a hard time relaxing and enjoying too. I'm constantly wondering if what we're doing is going to work. It doesn't surprise me, because I don't know how to relax on a normal basis much less with this. Every doctor I have ever been to has mentioned my inability to relax.

My hubby has, well, "issues," if I tend to push him to do it. I don't tell him anymore that it is "O" time. I just attack him when he least expects it. Then I rock his world. Lol. Lingerie helps too. It helps if you feel sexy.

I try and feel I sometimes have a mild case of performance anxiety. When I try to relax the body my mind starts racing on unimportant things. Anyway concentrating on relaxing can stop my body from enjoying the experience.

I went through a phase for a few months where BDing almost felt like a chore (how sad is that?) Lately we have been DTD pretty much every other day, regardless of O, and we are definitely back in our groove. For me, it helps to decide early in the day what the evening's agenda will be, so I have plenty of time to get myself in the right mood. And a glass of wine never hurts either
