AF showed today! So now I call the RE on Monday to set up my saline sonogram, go for my blood work, and start our first round of Clomid on cd5! I am hoping that this is what we need to get a nice healthy egg and our rainbow baby! I am so glad that we decided to take last cycle off after seeing the RE on cd18 and not Oing until cd22. It was so nice to not be stressing over lines and to go into this more relaxed and hopeful than I have been in a long time. The last thing my RE said to me before I left was, "You know you WILL get pregnant again with a healthy baby, right?" For the first time in a while I believe it! I so hope he is right!

Sounds like you are hopeful and going into Medical Assistance with a positive attitude is so important.

Couple of things: Make sure you take some kind of pain medicine before the saline test. It really smarted when the catheter was inserted but it only lasted about 15-20 seconds and the rest of the procedure was painless. It was cool because my doctor let me watch the ultrasound screen and explained what he was looking at.

Clomid: I hope you end up with no side effects but you may experience hot flashes, insane mood swings - like mood swings you never thought possible, headaches and other stuff. Take it at night, just before you go to sleep to try to sleep through the worst of it. Sleep in a cotton t-shirt or nightie, that way if you have hot flashes it will absorb the sweat for you. Also, it dries up your cm so invest in some preseed or Robitussin worked for me! Make sure you get the right Robitussin with the active ingredient of something like galviston (I can look it up if you need it)

Ok I am done babbling for now. I hope you get pregnant this cycle Lori!

That is so great that you are hopeful and excited. I am glad the break helped you. What a nice RE you have to say something so sweet. I love when DR's are good. I hope this is all you need for your healthy rainbow baby.

Thanks ladies! I really do feel very hopeful for this cycle. I start the Clomid Wednesday (night after Missy's suggestion). I also go for the saline sonogram Wednesday morning. I'll let you know how it goes.
