Okay ladies I have a challenge! Ready for it? Post here one at a time with information that you wish you would have known before you had a loss. It can be about your cycle, about medicine, phyically, mentally however you go with it. This will give us lots of information that will help each other as well. You can post more than once but only post one thing at a time

I don't think anything could have been done to stop my loss, so I don't know that having a particular knowledge set would have had any meaning to me. Also, I don't empathize well with things I haven't experienced, so I probably would have blown off anyone trying to give me information.
I am, however, appreciative of all of the information I have gotten here AFTER my loss. It was very interesting and I have learned a lot more about the female body than I ever did before. It's quite fascinating.

I wish I would have known how hard a natural miscarriage would be. It would have been much easier on me emotionally to have a D&C.

I wish I would have known that a baby aspirin and a Clomid pill may have prevented some of my losses.

How does baby asprin help prevent losses?
I wish I had known how to prevent it (I know there probably wasn't a way, but I still wish I knew)

I wish that it would have never happened....
I would rather have never gotten pregnant that to have lost the baby.

I wish I knew how insensitive and stupid people could be with their comments so I would have been prepared with the snarky comments I come equipped standard with now.

I also wish that I would have known how it would screw with me wanting a baby in the future. Now I still want one...but don't want to go through that pain AGAIN. I'm definintely second guessing myself...and I don't like that at all.

It prevents clotting. I don't remember why clotting is bad.

I wish I would have known to tell the doctor's office to have something other than Parents magazine in their waiting room. Seriously, how does an OB office do something so insensitive? They of all people should know that not everything turns out roses when it comes to pregnancy.

Basing this on my earlier losses- I wish I had known how people would react and that a lot of people just don't understand the toll of a miscarriage.
