He is really racking up the doghouse points tonight. First, at dinner we were talking about the saline sonogram that I had today. I jokingly said, "Man you really owe me one after this whole process is over." He responded by saying, "Why? It's not like my stuff is broken." For real?!? I know he was joking, but still. Yes, the problem is with me, and I am fully aware of that. Thank you, douche bag, for reminding me.
Fast forward to tonight. Today is cd5, and I'm supposed to start Clomid today. I'm taking Missy's advice and taking it before bed so that I can sleep through most of the side effects. So I started to drift off on the couch and I asked him if he could get one of the Clomid pills for me. He goes to the cabinet in the kitchen where we keep the meds, and he's rifling around for way too long. Turns out he lost them. He picked them up from the pharmacy at the end of last week, and told me he put them in the cabinet. Well, they weren't there. I helped him tear apart the house looking for them in every conceivable nook and cranny. By the end I was a basket case thinking he ruined our chance this cycle. So, I sent him outside to go through the trash bags and see if he threw the bag with the pills in it out. He kept swearing that he would NEVER do something like that. Well, he opened the first bag, and the CVS bag with the blister packs of pills was sitting right on top. He threw them out! He keeps this up and he's not going to make it through this Clomid experience.

Hugs! Clomid is enough to try to deal with without having to deal with him

Aww I'm sorry he is being a dork !! You know, I have thought about buying a big wooden chair and painting it blue. Even decorating it and sitting it in the corner for my hubby, so he can have his own time out spot !! Sometimes men just don't"get" it .

Thanks ladies! I'm praying that this works! I feel very hopeful, and I'm not used to that feeling. I'll take it!

It really did sting, even though it was a joke. He didn't apologize, and I'm not surprised. He doesn't think he was wrong since it was a joke. He definitely doesn't think before he speaks, and it's been that way for the last almost 15 years that we've been together, although I swear it gets worse each year. Missy's definitely right that they think differently than we do!

Oh my goodness... That sounds like a huge ordeal. How frustrating! To be on the couch, almost asleep, then have to wake up and go through all of that. And he totally should have apologized for that joke

Wow, your DH is walking a line. Whenever my DH does a bunch of stupid stuff, I just demand that he make me a nice dinner and bring me flowers. Sometimes they are too dumb to know what's good for them
I really hope this is your cycle!
