Hey Ladies,
So, i've been stimming for the past week with Gonal F, Repronex and Antagon. Not fun, I've basically felt like I am pregnant for the past week and have a nasty metallic taste in my mouth. It all seems to have been worth it, I have 11 Follicles and am going in for my egg retrieval on Saturday. They will be calling me on Sunday with the fertilization report(how many eggs fertilized) and then I will have the implantation on either Tuesday or Thursday.
Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies. I can't believe it is finally happening, it just doesn't seem real......
Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement over the past two years. It has helped me through some hard days/weeks/months. Ok, so the meds have also made me an emotional wreck...i have to go cry now...lol.....
UPDATE:
so, i went in for the retrieval, they weren't able to get any eggs from my right ovary(not sure why, i have to ask). and they got only 3 from my left. So, i was not happy about that. Saturday was a very emotional day for me. I woke up hysterical from the anesthesia and then I heard only 3 and lost it. The nurse was so good to me....she comforted me until they let my husband in. Of the 3, only 1 fertilized so on tuesday they will go put the 1 good embryo back in. I'm not too optimistic, at 39 years old they like to put 3 back in. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed, like the nurse said, it only takes 1. I'll keep you guys posted....

Michelle, This is EXCITING!! Woah, 11 follies rocks! How many are you going to have inserted? I was a hormonal wreck on just clomid, I can only imagine what you are going through.

Missy-they are going to put 3 back in. and yes, hormonal wreck is the word for it.
I'm so nervous, I only got 4 hrs sleep last night. Good thing is that I caught the royal wedding live this morning.....

Oh Michelle - how disheartening. I am so sorry honey. I know "it only takes one" but at the same time you just pumped your body with tons of hormones and feel like a human pin cushion. I understand why you lost it. Even though this isn't the best news, I pray that this one egg is your future baby. (((Hugs))) Love you sweetie.

I'm so sorry that this cycle turned out to be so disappointing. I would have lost it too  I am crossing everything that the rest of the cycle goes perfectly and you end up with a BFP and a beautiful rainbow baby!
